How do I set stabilizer trim in 2D panel?

Featured Replies

For those people who would like a 2D throttle quadrant for their NGX panels :It looks like PMDG aren't in any hurry to provide one, no matter how many outcries. Any attempts to persuade them otherwise have too often degenerated into sometimes nasty arguments between some forum participants, which is a real shame (there's more than enough bad blood in the world already about issues that ARE crucial to the human race). But why not add one yourself if you're that keen to have one ? The default FSX 738 has a 2D throttle quadrant window which would be quite adequate. OK, it doesn't address the issue of "should PMDG provide one or not" and of course PMDG wouldn't support such modification. But it would meet the individual's need and provided that original files are backed up, should not be risky. I've customised a few panels of commercial add-on aircraft to suit my own preferences and if anyone's interested I can tell you how it's done - it's really not difficult at all. And before anyone thinks of throwing mud at me for even suggesting this : please guys, I'm only trying to help get this thread off the dead end it's been heading for. And frankly I'm too old to get into slanging matches - got better things to do with my time rolleyes.gif .

Cheers,
Emile Bax.
