Don't know. Maybe Ryan can jump in after checking.I haven't had the colorful triangles problem.

Are there any change log for the patch? Have to go to work right now so I can't fire up the sim to check for myself.. Rolling Eyes.gif

No change log that I can find. But this is on Ben Supniks blog...This build should hopefully fix any crashes and colored-triangle artifacts introduced by 10.02 beta 1; the smoke puff performance optimization wasn’t my best work. Here is the full post...http://www.x-plane.com/blog/2011/11/x-plane-10-02-beta-2-is-here/

I've had a quick go. My fluoroscopic scenery is gone, and fps in HDR mode better, need to use the 747 to be sure but it's definitely better in the heli

No change in HDR for me :(But with 8x x 8x AA/AF it looks beautiful!

Ur not wrong! I may still need to turn it off with the more complex planes too. I don't have that good a system... Yet!

If I stay with No HDR, I might just get another 570SC and SLI for Higher AA.Or wait until spring for the next Gen VC.I think my VC is the bottleneck on my system, but I'll have to wait until Ben get's some more Optimizations done first!

It's inconsequential, but it's nice to finally see that the splashscreen is centered on widescreen monitors.

LOL...I was thinking the same thing :)

Ha, I thought it was a bug!I'll probably wait for the new 28nm cards that are also pci3 compliant, that sounds like a great leap, early next yr.

Same rendering settings at driver and UI level as the previous version, but frames went into the toilet. Still cannot turn on volumetric FOG as it completely distorts the image. After returning from the rendering settings screen, this screen still shows somewhat transparently through the scenery. Sounds like a memory issue maybe.Bob

Officially retired

No changes for me unfortunately... I'm still getting colorful blocks on the runway, and AI planes and my own plane.
