December 7, 201114 yr Got my copy today. I'm installing just North America for now because a full install would take too long. I'll install the rest later as I find the time.

December 8, 201114 yr For tv-sna doesn't look so good...I can almost make out the 55 freeway (because I know it's there!) and Mac Arthur Blvd. and an almost 405 freeway, which should be like 12 lanes through there. The last one is suppose to be Big Bear? Really? I read that the 80gb was due to the "high resolution mesh" earlier, so where is the high resolution mesh?If you happen to wander up and around say...NorKali and can grab a shot or two?

December 8, 201114 yr Author Hi Geofa could please take a few screen shots of Boston? Thanks :) Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
December 8, 201114 yr Thanks for posting that picture. The suburbs look very good, but the city section needs more skyscrapers. Hmm ... you could probably use Osm2xp to add back some of the buildings. Here is what Boston looks like in the X-plane 10 engine with the old v9 global scenery. Most likely the data for the skyscrapers is in v10s global scenery dsf, but I am guessing that the v10 art assets are incomplete this is probably why there is a lot of green space at the moment. Hopefully this will get fixed sooner than later.
December 8, 201114 yr Where do you want Meshman? Dunismuir-weed?I call it Dummys-muir, in honor of my step-bro...Maybe a little SE of there, along a lake. With a lumber mill, so I can have something to reference it to.
December 8, 201114 yr Hi Geofa.Thank you, for the KSNA pics. Maybe it will get better? For now my system only gets 11 FPS with minimum settings, I may wait a while. I also have a problem with the View Left Right assigned to the Twist, there is no Null Zone adjustment that I can see, XP9, did not work well either, maybe they will fix that in the future. It does seem to have some good points. Have a Great Holidays. TV

They kill performance totally on my system..hopefully you can get it to work better.I have been putting the sim thru its paces-there may be a weakness right now with industrial, major cities and the textures for the desert west are way too grean-but the rest is simply amazing. Tetons, Glacier park, Yosemite as examples-some of the scenery I've seen tonight rival commercial add in packages. For Meshman-here is Yosemite, the ground textures outside glacier park, Weed, and yes my favorite place of the world-they did Chester quite well and the rest but it could use a smoking lumber mill from you...also the Sawtooth Mtns. in Idaho. December 8, 201114 yr Took a flight around my neck of the woods:This was just awe inspiring. It gave me such a sensation of flying that I got butterflies in my stomach.I can't say anything about the accuracy of my region since I'm not familiar with it from the air, but it all looked pretty good to me. I've made this particular journey countless times in FSX, but it has never looked better than this. After following the tips on the bog about performance tuning, my frame rates rarely drop below 30.I'm running on a 64-bit Linux systemAMD Phenom X6 1090T (6 cores @ 3.2GHz)nVidia GTX460 768MB8MB RAM+15 AI aircraftI'm impressed with how smooth everything is running -- no hitching or anything -- and since they're still optimizing, it can only get better from here.
