Now that's a nice place to live, Gavin! 105.gifThe question is what was first: Gavin's love to aviation resulting in 'accidental' move to live under EPWA STAR, or the other way...?
Thanks Chaps, some really useful pointers there. I would hate to get rid of my Polish Airforce Y/Jak40's so I will keep those (on the basis that Gavin thinks they may still be about). The An12's will have to go (a sad moment for any lover of Russian aircraft) the Tu154m will be superceeded by EMB175's. I spent a wonderful couple of weeks under the final approach of LROP. Best holiday I had !

HiI have a question, what is a flight from a photo radar is and where I can find it?
What was shown is a screenshot from Casper Live Aircraft tracking. A gift from god if you are a plane spotter. The enclosed link will take you to their home page. To the right of the home page you will see a number of flags depicting what country may be of interest to you. Click on the nations flag and from there select the airport (in this case I chose EGLL-London HRW). For free you can see just about every plane flying around. Casper flight will show you what airline, type, call sign and registration number albeit with a 15 minute delay. Casper Live tracking does not just show approach traffic but overflights too. Pay 4 euros a month and you can have it Live. It is good fun.The LOT flight I actually saw from my bedroom window, before checking it out on Casper flight. Quite a rare sight as they normally take a route further north. http://casperflights.com/Good luck.

What kind of static planes come in this scenery (I will be buying the scenery later or tomorrow)? If it's airline traffic or GA traffic I already have my own and wouldn't want static. If it's stored planes then I would keep the static planes.

They are custom staic aircraft made by the DD team. You can leave them or remove them, which is up to your taste.

Hi Joseph, As someone has already pointed out. It is really easy to delete them. In fact the developer explains in very simple English (well simple enough for me to understand) how to remove them. There is (from memory, as the first thing I did was delete them) a LOT 767 not stored, A LOT Emb 195 (I think) not stored and some GA traffic. Like you I am no great fan of static planes. In all fairness the developer has done a pretty good job to make them look quite realistic.

I did try this for a while but found the flickering aircraft a bit off putting. But yes it is free.

Try again, Tristan, they are definitely not flickering on my screen.

Actually, it was when they changed the STARS a few years ago. If I now fly into Warsaw from the North, I usually get to see my flat :-)

I would be really surprised if it was the other way. :wink:BTW The manual has a very nice simple guide on how to get more FPS if you seem to miss some.
