December 22, 201114 yr Can you check the actual code? Sounds easy, but I once copy and pasted a blank too much and the thing went nuts. Reinstalled using the right one and everything was fine. I doubt that unzipping the thing will work due to the protection. So you may get a plane, but no working gauges. Only complaint I have is that the either the APU is too loud, or the aural startup sequence for the engines is too soft.Very true. I've deleted the sound file. Check the Captain Sim 767 folder and find the APU sounds in sounds. Edit or delete/exchange, as you like.
December 22, 201114 yr Just bought the 767 Base Pack. Must say it's really nice, a couple of new things in the cockpit, and the McPhat paints are amazing! Only complaint I have is that the either the APU is too loud, or the aural startup sequence for the engines is too soft.Does the cockpit have a speed tape on the PFD? Ben B. I5 at 2.9 ghz, 8gb of RAM, and GTX 560 Overclocked 1gb
December 22, 201114 yr No, that's the older thing or airline option without a speed tape. Only the slow/fast pointer. The speeds and bugs are on the analogue gauge then.
December 22, 201114 yr On the huge discounts, feel free to check the shop after the sales to get a view on the normal prices. Don't read that the wrong way, it is a huge discount, but not that huge. Of course, one has to applaud to the recurring sales at CS.I've bought the C-130 last time and was eagerly waiting for them to start, so maybe that's why I recall that normal C-130 full pack price. If my memory doesn't trick me, the discussion was the same. ^_^Sure. No restrictions on the CS downloads. I would always backup installers though, but they don't charge you when you need your purchased stuff. But do write down that Order ID thingy, you will need it to log in. C-130 price is normally 89.99 euros for a 89% discount, and the CS-707, 757, 767, 727 are 59.99 for a 83% discount. I would say that's pretty huge!! December 22, 201114 yr Why full quote posts when you don't read them, Tom? See the link there? Click it, it has screenshots of the normal prices for the non believers. :( Those shots you see there are some months old.I still like the sales as even a discount from 39.99 down to 9.99 is a treat (a blast to be precise) and I once again applaud to CS for offering such events. The CS 707 comes in at 30 Euros and the 727 does too, outside of the sales. Feel free to check, maybe tomorrow? Now you can get them for 10 bucks, while the additional models are prices at 9.99 all the time. No doubt, that's great.
December 22, 201114 yr Does the cockpit have a speed tape on the PFD?No, and to be honest, I don't think a good speed tape fits on a 767/757 PFD nicely, just my opinion, it looks to squashed next to the artificial horizon.

December 22, 201114 yr And they even reacted on price critics, so I can't complain at all. The 707 took off at 60 Euros but received a 'static discount' after some weeks, which even gained size, leading to '30 Euros off' outside of the Christmas sales. If one then gets it for 10 bucks right now, it's like stealing in my eyes.Geez, must admit being a 707 fan. :(

If not, I'll be sure to try the activation code tip you mention. Hopefully it is that simple...
