December 22, 201114 yr Just purchased and downloading the All-In-One C-130 pack as well! Alexander Alonso
December 22, 201114 yr Hmm, I have been flying mainly the default 737. Have yet to purchase an add on aircraft.I was taking a look at the 757 - so how complex would something like this be, for a user who has only flown default aircraft so far? Would I spend more time trying to get the thing started and in the air versus flying? The price with this sale is certainly nice. Don B

For one, just the FMC is a massive addition to any aircraft, but you can find a tutorial here:http://www.captainsi...?num=1220997876. If your going to do an airline route with SID/STARs, that tutorial works wonders...and you certainly have a system for the 757, I get 14 FPS in ORBX PNW and REX and the 75 with mine, and mines pretty bad. And once you have the 757, all you can do is get more and more sophisticated systems wise with the likes of PMDG and others.Hoped that helped,One last thing, before I purchase the 767, is there a good repaint for my hometown airline, Delta?
December 22, 201114 yr Sale now on. Just got the C130 All in One for 9.99. Normally 90 Euro.I think they blew up the 'normal' values a bit. I never saw 90 Euros outside of the sales, more like 40 or so. However, the 10 for the whole package shouldn't be missed and there's little competition to that C-130.
December 22, 201114 yr No, I think the 90 is pretty accurate. It's probably 30 for the C130 itself, then every expansion package would have gone for 10 and there are quite a bit of them. Could add up to 90 pretty quickly. December 22, 201114 yr Your right guys, a good saving after all. Ended up getting the 727 base + freighter as well. Coolp, I found the tweak links you made in the forum, looks like my weekend is all mapped out. Might have to look at the C130 down the track, looks like a lot to learn. December 22, 201114 yr I never have been much of a CS fan due to the way they do business, but I guess for such a cheap price you really dont have much to lose. Might take a look in the morning and see what I can buy :-) C-130 Full Pack for only $13. AWESOME! Lol just saw that. Usually 90 euro. They are selling the base model for the same sale price, so anyone to get the base, when you can get the full for the same price is mad! Brent Lewis

I will still have to think it over, I may get it just to have it should I decide to plunge into something like this down the road. Don B
December 22, 201114 yr Hi guys, I just used my chance and got the 727 (as intended before) and their C-130 All-in-one-pack (Was not really planned but 9.99 € instead of 90€ are something to think off!) So in the end I payed 18.99€ instead of 150€!! That´s how I like Chistmas!! :smile:Go and use your chance, you won´t regred it! Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
December 22, 201114 yr Commercial Member Bought the 727 a month or so ago, love it, so I just picked up the 707 for 12 bucks and I'm stoked. Maybe I'll get the C130 next year. Merry xmas to me :(
December 22, 201114 yr If I buy the c130, can I re-download onto my other computer? December 22, 201114 yr On the huge discounts, feel free to check the shop after the sales to get a view on the normal prices. Don't read that the wrong way, it is a huge discount, but not that huge. Of course, one has to applaud to the recurring sales at CS.I've bought the C-130 last time and was eagerly waiting for them to start, so maybe that's why I recall that normal C-130 full pack price. If my memory doesn't trick me, the discussion was the same. :( If I buy the c130, can I re-download onto my other computer?Sure. No restrictions on the CS downloads. I would always backup installers though, but they don't charge you when you need your purchased stuff. But do write down that Order ID thingy, you will need it to log in.
December 22, 201114 yr Just bought the 767 Base Pack. Must say it's really nice, a couple of new things in the cockpit, and the McPhat paints are amazing! Only complaint I have is that the either the APU is too loud, or the aural startup sequence for the engines is too soft.
December 22, 201114 yr Commercial Member The only time I ever buy Captainsim is during their sales as I have had too many issues with them as a company and their addons to ever risk paying full price. Today confirms this, yet again. I purchased the 767 base pack last night and it won't install through the installer. The install button remains greyed out once you click through online activation and submit your order number, it stays grey and is non-clickable. After an extensive search, I found a KB article that basically states it's my own problem. Now I have 250GB free space, used admin rights even though my user account is a local admin (Windows 7 64-bit) and have successfully installed many different payware addons in recent months, including PMDG, ORBX, etc. So I know my setup is sound. The way I got around this was to use 7-zip to unpack the executable and manually place the files into the FSX directory. Probably not allowed, but after paying for it and with no help on the horizon from Captainsim (based on other customers testimonials on this exact subject, stating CS support directs them to the KB article I already found), I don't really care.
