December 22, 201114 yr Seeing same thing - not huge issue but glad to see people reporting on it , looking forward to full copy arriving soon.
December 23, 201114 yr Good to know I am not alone! I have all the problems discussed in this thread, I am on Linux (Debian wheezy amd64) and nvidia GTX460, drivers 290.10, good to know it's not only Linux problem!I have noticed that when I set water reflection detail to "none" at least the "moving cloud shadows" bug seems to dissapear
December 23, 201114 yr It would seem that in the beta 6 release notes, they have fixed the global light cutout for ATI cards. Sheesh, all of us reporting here have nVIdia cards....Anyone with an ATI card care to confirm this problem is fixed?
December 23, 201114 yr Author I have noticed that when I set water reflection detail to "none" at least the "moving cloud shadows" bug seems to dissapearI'll try this when I get home later. I bet X-Plane water still looks somewhat decent on the lowest setting. If it ends the crawling shadows, I suppose I can live with that for now. I've messed with so many other options without success, but never thought about lowering the water setting. Hope it works for me as well. Scott
December 23, 201114 yr I set the water reflection to none and the moving cloud shadows has disappeared ! AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RTX 4080S, Ram - 32GB, 32" 4K Monitor, WIN 11. Eric Escobar
December 23, 201114 yr I have checked this "workaround" and can confirm, that turning off water reflection "solves" this issue.I have added this to the internal bug, which will definitely help to track it down faster! Thanks guys, this was indeed a good "work" :( Andras Fabian / Alpilotx Visit www.alpilotx.net, a site about X-plane scenery You can see some landscape and other photographs from me here: http://www.flickr.co...s/weathermaker/
December 25, 201114 yr Author Yup, no water reflections cured it for me as well. And the water still looks pretty nice and will reflect the sun, etc. That should hold me until a possible fix comes along. Well done, fellow simmers. This forum served its purpose! Glad to have somewhere like this to get a bunch of minds together to give and receive help!Scott Scott
December 25, 201114 yr OMG, did I just see a thread about XP10 that didn't turn into a flame war? It must be that christmas spirit making people come together for the hollidays. I regret to inform you that the holiday is nearly over and New Years just a few days away. Let's see if we can make a New Years resolution to keep threads informative and helpful and we may yet be able to help LR find issues and the ability to reproduce the circumstances that lead to the discovery of the cause so we can all have a bug-free XP10 that will be better than any of us would have originally expected.Yeah TEAM!!! January 1, 201214 yr That's a ridiculous statement. FSX is nothing. I love S&M with college girls Luke Spencer
