The FS2000 world was a huge improvement over FS98. The FS2002 world was a huge improvement over the FS2000 world. The FS2004 world was a huge improvement over the FS2002 world. The FSX world was a huge improvement over the FS2004 world. The Flight world will be a huge improvement over the FSX world. What would possibly make you think that scenery won't be improved? Straight from the FAQ: "and enhanced scenery and terrain."

I dont see any huge improvement beetween FS9 and FSX default scenery, both look extremely bad as M$ cant even place right textures to right places. There is lots of big places are in real life completely dry and in FSX full of rainforest, and other way round too. But instead of improving this they just show us pictures of some stupid Hawaii with fat american tourists that you will be forced to fly around Hawaii with small Cessna. :(

So far there is no addons for many areas of the world that would improve default scenery completely, and one of the areas where I want to fly belongs to those parts.Anyways we can forget all this as most probably Flight will never cover whole world.

I just happen to like Southeast Asia most because in real life it has so nice landscape, interesting culture and such. Anyways I have no problem with that really now as I have tileproxy installed, satellite images to that area are not in highest quality though but at least on long haul flights its ok.

You know, I think I've finally sussed onto why MS removed "Simulator" from "Flight." They were afraid that some folks would start using F$ instead of FS, as some misanthropic mental midgets use M$ instead of MS... :(
