And Flight with TileProxy (assuming it's developed) will look better than anything you have so far in FSX.It gauls me when idiots say that with high end payware scenery and aircraft FSX looks better. When Flight has high end payware scenery and aircraft, which do you think will look better then? :(
become more credible .. stop calling folks idiots :(

Wrong Jim !It's actually here.http://forum.avsim.n...32-pmdg-737ngx/A forum for the only realistic desktop 737NG simulation. I do not know any RW NG pilot who does not have this.Let's hope MS picks beta testers who know something this time. They sure picked 'em for FSX................... :( Fred.

Tileproxy is free, so your point makes no sense this time. :sad:I personally believe that Flight will never get much high end payware scenery and aircraft as X plane 10 is going to eat all its customers.

Accually, if you look at the other "new" simulator options (XPX), Flight looks like it's come lightyears. :(
Not really, so far we have seen only Hawaii showcase scenery, which is most probably modeled in better quality than the rest of the world like St Martin in FSX. Surely if you go to just some random location in Flight (assuming that it has whole world modeled some way), it wont look much different from default FSX in terms of accuracy when compared to real places. Its just not possible to model whole world with that accuracy. Other than land details I have seen nothing much different from FSX in MS Flight, I mean nothing really major.

How can you say that ? You are wrong mate, I am gonna tell you why.First of all Flight is based on Hawaii only. That is a MAJOR difference.Second, Flight will miss both jets and the room for flying them, that is a MAJOR difference too.Third, Flight will be played on the Live circuit so there will be no open source addons, only Paypal donations will be accepted for free. These are MAJOR differences. :(

Well I mean major in good sense. Yeah im still not sure about if Flight will have jets and whole world, but anyways even if it has im not going to buy it unless they finally make world look even bit like it should be. I dont care about some stupid Hawaii, most of humans live in Asia, economy and aviation is growing quickly in Asia so MS should definitely focus on Asia instead of some small islands middle of nothing. At least in FSX default scenery in Southeast Asia where there should be rainforests and all green looks more like dry islands of Southern Europe, and that sucks very much. Thankfully there is tileproxy...I think that extremely detailed sceneries like Hawaii should be job of addon developers and M$ should instead start removing wrongly placed deserts.

No, Flight will only have detailed scenery for Hawaii (to get the simmer going and to showcase what Flight can do), the rest of the World I presume will be low-quality scenery similar to FSX.A flightsim product absolutely restricting flight to Hawaii only makes no sense at all from any POV. It won't happen.Cheers,- jahman.

Yeah but probably you will need to buy that low quality scenery outside Hawaii so M$ can make more money.Anyways I see no reason why anyone would buy Flight most of the world is not going to be improved much from FSX times...

The FS2000 world was a huge improvement over FS98. The FS2002 world was a huge improvement over the FS2000 world. The FS2004 world was a huge improvement over the FS2002 world. The FSX world was a huge improvement over the FS2004 world. The Flight world will be a huge improvement over the FSX world. What would possibly make you think that scenery won't be improved? Straight from the FAQ: "and enhanced scenery and terrain."

You know, I think I've finally sussed onto why MS removed "Simulator" from "Flight." They were afraid that some folks would start using F$ instead of FS, as some misanthropic mental midgets use M$ instead of MS... :(
