January 4, 201214 yr No more free world feeling. If you download free Hawaii and buy the UK expansion pack do you simply teleport to London once you hit the free Hawaii scenery boundary? Yuck. Bit like being denied to explore in COD or being automatically killed in Battlefield 2 when you try to go exploring.Weird, feel like its lost a whole lot of freedom.

January 4, 201214 yr They don't even have the dignity to give all the Hawaiian islands for free, you have to buy the rest of them.

January 4, 201214 yr I love this part: Howard's reluctance to discuss the pricing of future content was because, in part, it will be decided by the players themselves. "Inherent to the system is a tremendous amount of telemetry: are players looking for aerocaches? Should we put in more 'gold rushes'? Users are having a really hard time here - what did they, and we - get wrong?" Howard said. Additional content will be at a price point that "feels good to them," Howard said of the game's audience. "Over time, there will always be more to come," Howard said.I wonder if enough of us crash into the pacific after trying to reach another continent, and inevitably running out of fuel, that they will consider expanding the playable area and long haul jets... :(
January 4, 201214 yr I actually feel sorry for those that get picked to beta test this game!Everyone is getting picked to beta test it that signs up for it. If the final release is going to be free to download, why wouldn't they open up the beta to all who register?

Aerocashes? How about a proper world to explore?
January 4, 201214 yr They don't even have the dignity to give all the Hawaiian islands for free, you have to buy the rest of them.So does that mean that the bets in this forum that Flight would be Hawaii only or the whole world is null and void as it's not even the whole of Hawaii, lol. This is going from bad to worse :(. ~ Martin Smith

We asked for more realistic ATC and AI traffic. We got geocaches and gold rushes. Way to listen to your customer base Microsoft. Great job. Gold rushes? Seriously? When will the PAC MAN scenery be released?

The difference is there's no geography to fill the globe. So you'll likely be flying over fast oceans to whatever region you bought aside from Hawaii or they'll be generic textures for the world with no mesh. Something like that.
