I just purchased the pmdg 747x and cannot install the program and no it is not my firewall. In addition when trying to contact product support I am not being sent a confirmation email, so I thought I would try this forum instead since it seems pmdg is not interested in helping me out, but they did take the money. I have tried the ID number(s) on the invoice to no avail--great support. MRT

Send them an support email with your invoice number etc... and im sure they will help you out eventually they are busy and do have life's to live of their own.

I may have a solution. I take it you can download it but you can't install it? Try running it as an administrator.But in defense of PMDG, they do have a policy of answering support issues within 24 hours if I remember correctly.

Gentlemen, Thank you very much for your posts. I have followed the steps on the PMDG site for product support and filled out all the info. I have not recieved a confirmation email despite several attempts. I have not been able to get past the install shield even though I have entered my email, order ID and password. I have all firewalls off, admin does not seem to work either. So, I am not sure what else to try. I am sure PMDG has a great support service, I just can't get to it! Perhaps they are just having a bad day and all will work tomorrow. MRT

What exactly is the installer doing? Are you getting any sort of error message?

hi they dont send out emails u have to check in the support ticket u have sent

You're jumping to ridiculous conclusions and accusing us of not helping you when it's clear there's been no way for us to do so. You did not sign your name to your posts as is required by the rules here and as a result there's no way I can look up your order to see why it's failing. I cannot look up "cfiiimeiagi" in our order database.If the support ticket confirmation isn't getting to you, that's on your end - it's probably being spam blocked before it even gets to you. Nothing we can do about that - the system is working just fine, I've answered well over 100 individual tickets today. Try using a different email address - gmail seems to always work.

Try setting up a gmail account & registering with it, that was one of Ryan's suggestions.

put your full name in your signature block other wise it mite be just be deleted

Not sure if this helps but i also have purchased the 747-400x just before the holidays and run into the same validation issue during install. While waiting for the response form PMDG support, I have come across a post that someone suggested changing the password on the PMDG website from complex to short and simple to resolve the validation problems; and yes it did worked for me as well...

Michael,Not sure why you are not recieving the confirmation email from the support system but as Ryan stated earlier, we've had several hundred tickets come through successfully so something is blocking it on your end. Check your Junk mail folder or with your ISP to see if they are blocking it.In regards to your installation problem, please try it again now. There was a problem with the order status but you should be all set now.
