Carenado JetProp is on their products page with a "Buy Now" button

This may be a bit off topic, but I think Carenado can be very happy about the two Bs. One is the Bernt, being in their team and working on the FDE and also the customer support and the other one is Bert (don't mix them up!), already offering his free work on some issues and tweaks.Look into this Avsim section to see what I'm talking about. http://forum.avsim.net/forum/444-pa46t-malibu-jetprop-dl-hd-series-fsx/Nice work, folks!

But remember Bert has always been in a league of his own comming to sharing new concepts/ideas/upgrades

Bob there's something seriously wrong the way you operate the JetPROP.Feathered you aren't going anywhere. Even if you have the prop lever is fully aft, the prop isn't feathere! You need the key command for prop RPM decrease to actually feather the prop. The prop RPM in feather is around 400RPM.That's the same with most add-ons (and the default planes) because there's no actual stop on the prop lever in FSX to keep you from accidently feathering the prop. For take off and landing makes sure that the prop control is full forward (2200RPM)Can't try it as I'm presently sitting in Dubai, but it looks as if you are trying to fly with the prop control fully aft.And another indication of that problem is the fact that you need that much power on approach. That's definitely not the case. Quite the contrary. The Vmo of 172kts can be exceed with approx 50% of the available power at low altitude.-----------------------------------------------------For those with the frame rate question. The 'worst' Carenado plane on my PC is the A36 and the JetPROP is way better. Very similar to the 337. That's my own experience as well.
Thanks, I will look at this again. Not sure about the key command. I am a little confused on this. I will try again and see if I can figure this out. I did not realize the lever was all the way back. I applied throttle and away I went. Once airborn, I began to lose airspeed. That is when I noticed the prop lever was all the way aft. At that point, I wondered how I was able to accelerate to mega_shok.gif kts in that configuration.Bob

With the prop lever fully aft, you are at max prop pitch and the lowest possible RPM. That's the same as if you would try to accelerate with your car in the highest gear.Nothing wrong in FSX with 'applying throttle' and go, but at least the few important levers shoud be in the correct (full forward) position :(

I'll remain on my off topic theme. Who was the guy inventing the funny smiley when typing '8 0'?Callout at mega_shok.gif knots.Douglas once built the MD- mega_shok.gif.Respect people at the age of mega_shok.gif.Ok, back to topic. Please post at least 79 user reviews. :(

Thanks, but my curiosity was whether the real plane would allow an acceleration to 80KTS with the lever in the full aft position. Logically it did not seem possible to me. Just for clarification, I did not know at the time the lever was in this position until rotate.Bob

Well you can get some power into that prop even at low rpm. A real plane won't like the torque that's coming up with this, but you will receive an acceleration. How much and for how long may be outside of the sim's scope though.Did you test it again with the rpm lever being full forward? Use the key command or the mouse to drag it into position if you like. If the plane would still lose speed with all levers being in place, something else may be worth a look.

Well guys I'm actually upset over this release. It really didn't go through beta well imho. There's a lot of things not working:1) ADF - can't change the frequency2) stec transponder - can't operate any buttons, can't use in flight timer.3) Apparently the only way for me to get the GNS430W FPL into the G500 is to export the file into my FS folder, then load it via the In-game flight planner. Which means I have to pause my flight... which is not going to happen since I fly online. Any time I would amend the FP I'd have to reload it.4) Stock GPS530 still disabled...I'm asking for a refund via email... it's unfortunate because from what I heard their last BE36 and C337 got really good reviews.

Concerning 3). To my knowledge, there isn't any gauge in the way of the 'glass' in the A36, the JetProp or my beloved Orbx Lancair Sandel unit which is able to connect to the RXP units and show the actual flight plan. Means without using the FSX dialogue or the neat 'live stream' feature from Aivlasoft EFB.I'm sure the devs can explain why this isn't possible. I really agree though, it would be nice. But I think you are seeing a normal gauge behaviour there, unfortunately.1) should be a thing for an SP. 2) is known from the A36, so it could be that it stays that way. I have the RXP transponder in the A36. Looks a bit odd though.

I was under the impression RXP GNS530W users are able to see it appear in the G500 without using export???I'd actually be happier if the left seat setup was the same as the right seat (analogue gauges).RE: The lancair... it won't display a line on the Sandel but the RXP GNS will drive the CDI needle when you select GPSS on the unit... ie you'll see the needle move if you're right or left of course...

RE: The lancair... it won't display a line on the Sandel but the RXP GNS will drive the CDI needle when you select GPSS on the unit.
That's the part I spoke of. You can render the RXP units driving all sorts of gauges, but the actual flight plan display (which works with the default gauges after importing a flight plan) doesn't. A known limitation when using the addon GPS gauges. So are you missing the flight plan display or the whole RXP GPS drives the plane aspect? Last part would indeed be a problem. The first part, as said, is normal to my knowledge. For example, the A36 gauges work with the RXP units (I don't have the JepProp yet), so the needles move, but you will lose the flight plan display, same as on the Lance.

I do get the needle with CDI deflection yes, but nothing else. But from reading the posts in this topic I thought that people with the RXP 530W ARE getting flight plans without having to export? Are you?For instance... this isn't an issue on say their 210 Centurion because there's only an HSI and I've got my 430W setup in there as well... it's on the bottom, and I select NAV2/COM2. When the CDI button is set to VLOC their stock GPS530 drives the HSI, when it's set to GPS my RXP unit drives the HSI. Also the stec xpndr works like normal AND the ADF works in the Centurion!Edit again... I've found that enabling the RXP GNS430S DISABLES the clickpots for all the radio stack components except the autopilot, and a few knobs on the stock 530gps and the power knob on the adf.Quick question: To guys with the RXP GNS530W - can you still operate the rest of your radio stack? ADF? digital transponder, comm panel??

Why not ? Your car can accelerate as well in the highest gear but going uphill will be a problem. Same here.Again, even with the prop lever fully aft the prop isn't feathered. There's nothing unrealistic about it.

Would be nice if this would work. I would have to apologize for stating wrong things then.So is anybody able to get the RXP flight plan (the lines of it) to display on the Carenado Garmin 'ND' gauge without importing a FSX plan or streaming one via EFB?

Is that the reason why you post the same thing on (at least) 3 different websites and 4 different forums? (Just for clarification it should be noted that a few complaints from you turned out to be simple fingertroubles)
