Why not ? Your car can accelerate as well in the highest gear but going uphill will be a problem. Same here.Again, even with the prop lever fully aft the prop isn't feathered. There's nothing unrealistic about it.
Ok great. I will do some reading so I can understand how all of this works. Just to be clear. With the arm full aft, blades are still in a physical position that there will still be enough angle or byte or lift to the blades to allow for forward motion. Is this correct?Bob

Is that the reason why you post the same thing on (at least) 3 different websites and 4 different forums?(Just for clarification it should be noted that a few complaints from you turned out to be simple fingertroubles)
I know everyone reads the different forums... I posted what was corrected but there's still major issues with the 430W disabling clickspots. And even though I found the push function for the G500 knob the spot is extremely small and only appears when I "lower my seat" so imho it's still an issue and the clickspot need to be larger. I guess this could be a finger trouble? That's the only one though... no DME is a letdown but it's not a bug per se.On their purchase product page it clearly states "Hot Swap Reality XP integration". It's not working properly and needs to be addressed. Hopefully I'm not coming off rude or anything. I want to fly this thing and enjoy it to its full potential, but I cannot.

Too bad it didn't work out for you. I guess they couldn't they help you with your issues.

It happens... it's just that most buyers are probably using it without the RXP stuff or with the 530 or 530/430. I'm one of those who never bought the 530 because the 430 fits better in most panels (at the time). Now a lot of addon planes incorporate the 3d bezel so the 530 would be a good purchase. Anyway it's uninstalled but I hope I can buy it again!

Yes, just in feather the blades are at about 87deg and don't produce any significant thrust.

Well Carenado is renowned for never getting GPS clickspots correct and I have had to always alter the clickspots myself to make it more user friendly. yes I am also of the opinion that if you not using the RXP it's basically tough luck for you. No I dont have this plane, so my comments is purely from past releases, but it still blow my mind that after all these years up to 337, they still dont fix the age old GPS's that is just being carried over from one plane to another. These click spots can work great but now most of the clickspots are behind the modelled knob and is not anymore properly available and they just seem not to care about that. But this is a personal perception, so dont let that deter you, if you willing to life with minuet small clickspots, get it, it look like a descent set of flying textures and from what I gather is the FM is very good.

Someone asked earlier why there are 2 transponders? In real life it's to avoid being grounded when one fails. I've seen a lot of aircraft of this class with 2 fitted, however only one is used at a time normally. I assume the radio fit of the model they copied had 2 fitted - and yes a DME would definitely be a preferable option for FSX purposes.Gary

Thanks for the report I figured for redundancy... I guess if they do fix the clickspot problem with the 430 I'll probably buy it again. Maybe they'll put in a DME... that would be awesome.

Not that I know of.The only way I have found that works is the default unit.

My G500 does not display the flightplan from my 530 RXP unit. Is there a fix to it yet? Thanks
Works just fine for me.

The RXP GNS530 populates the GNS500 on my end. No special steps necessary. Not sure what is going on for some users.

I have been considering the RXP gauges for awhile so maybe someone can help me understand something...If I purchase/install these gauges to this plane, or any others that it's compatible with, does that allow me to create a flight plan realistically using the GPS unit then have the plane fly the flight plan? Or are there any other benefits to purchasing it? When I fly this plane and the Caravan, 90% of the time I fly completely visually, but occasionally will do a longer flight.
