January 19, 201214 yr Well, it's not just that. It's also that I have very little interest in modern airplanes when it comes to flightsims. That's why the A2A B377 flies around the world while the PMDG planes are gathering virtual dust on my harddrive. They're great models in every way, and to me only slightly more exciting than watching my hair grow.No worries man, I know the tubeliners can be quite a bit of set it and forget it type airplanes whereas the older airplanes need to be babysat a little more.. During this race however doesn't matter what you fly, you babysit it as sudden wind shifts can really end your leg.. There have been a few of us who have gotten up to goto the bathroom only to come back to an airplane nose first into the ground or overstressed in the air.. You sit there and wet yourself if necessary.. LOL :(Thanks Rob, but in the end I went for the WoP2 anyway. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't bring myself to paying more (very little more I admit) for an older model that hasn't been properly converted.Good idea.. The H model like I said is getting more and more restricted every year so no worries.. The D model however is usually unrestricted although sometimes they say we must have variety in aircraft and can only fly any aircraft 10 or 15 times.. But if you have the D model and the do-335 your golden. Get some practice in them though as they are very high powered planes and take some finesse sometimes. I would suggest try landings on unlit airports at night in poor weather conditions on short strips (it happens).. :yahoo:By any chance do you have the text file that went with your duenna for your flight? if you can edit your post and add that, it would be greatly appreciated as Jeff is correct and you must include both in your posts..

January 19, 201214 yr I would suggest try landings on unlit airports at night in poor weather conditions on short strips (it happens).. :(I tried a few starts and landings at my "second home" airfield, ESSI. 600m unlit grass strip. Takeoffs went fine but on all landing attempts I went off the end a bit. Could be the snow... Anyway, I will make more practice runs at places like that before the race. Rolf Lindbom
