Thank you for posting the video and thank you Chris for making the beautiful aircraft so we can all share the experience of flying it back to KBMI from Boeing Field.

By the way everyone, this is what I'm talking and have a question about.Devin Mack
Hi DevinSending you an image of my Air Canada 737WL just out of KIAD climbing to TL 18k clearly showing, as I'd stated in my previous post, N1 commanding the speed with VNAV also on. Hope this clarifies matters for you.

Thanks Rick but what about 6:35 in the video when the plane was passing through FL260, you can clearly see on the MCP N1 and VNAV illuminated together. I can't recreate that scenario in the sim at all.
Looking into this... probably too late to fix it for SP1c, but I'll log it for SP2 if we do have it wrong. This never came up in testing with our tech team pilots at all so I'm wondering if this is a new thing. (maybe this is a U11.0 airplane or something, etc)

When I took that screengrab, my Air Canada 737-800WL was in fact gone past FL230 and still showing N1+VNAV illuminated

Rick,The issue is the button light on the MCP, not the actual FMA modes - I know we have the actual mode behavior right, it's that lit MCP button that's in contention.

Thanks for that clarification, Ryan, so as per my screengrab, mine is okay then?

As always thanks a lot Ryan for your input. It must be such a hassle to deal with the nit picky flight sim community who will notice when a single screw is out of place. :( If you find out anything it'd be great if maybe you could explain what I had been seeing. Thank you again sir.Devin Mack

Confirmed this from the tech team tonight - tested on the real thing, light does stay lit. I'm sure we'll fix it at some point, but like I said it may not be for SP1c because we're very close to releasing that.

Thank you for sharing, great video. Wonder if Boeing includes all that fuel with a new airplane. Again, thank you for the video.David Vega

The N1 thing is now fixed for SP1c, made it in. The actual rule by the way is that you'll now see THR HOLD until 800 feet above field elevation, then N1 kicks in and you get the MCP light. Pressing the button will put the mode to ARM.

Thanks a lot Ryan!! You guys sure do work quickly, whenever I seem to have a problem you get it fixed in no time. One of the many reasons you're by far the best in the business.Devin Mack

If anyone is interested, I've done a repaint of this plane. It's available on Avsim.http://library.avsim...php?DLID=165355fsx2012-01-2613-32-34-19.jpg
Thank you Chris, love the livery, took it for a flight last night :)
