February 8, 201214 yr Just started a post down in the Hardware controllers section and put this same post in the FS9 section as many don't make it down there or out of the FSX forum for that matter so I thought I would throw a quick link to it here as I think a lot of you might really like this little thing.Sorry for the redundancy and drawing attention to my own post but it is only because I think others will really enjoy this, no selfish motives at all!!!http://forum.avsim.net/topic/362099-my-logitech-g13-mini-review/Hope someone finds it useful... Mods please delete if you feel inappropriate apologies for the bending of the forum rules...-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
February 9, 201214 yr I use a G13 as a VC view controller, with the buttons programmed for different camera views. Very handy. February 9, 201214 yr One of the things I considered G13 for... EZCA views. Currently have them on the keyboard, numbers 1 through 0.Got a question for you:Can those keys on the G13 be multiplied? Kind of like using a shift or control button, but without having to press the shift key... something like a switch, a button for a 2nd lever etc...?I'm desperately looking for some device to provide me more levels... like, one level for cockpit views, one level for outside views, one level for movement commands etc...

With the G13 you have 22 programmable keys and M1-M3 for all 22 so you actually can define 66 keystrokes. To your point, M1 can be cockpit views, M2 Inside, M3 outside and yes you can combine macros and multi keystrokes. For example, my G1 key, upper left corner in my "pre-flight" section is set to ctrl-shft-w for AES... Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
February 9, 201214 yr Looks like a copy of the Belkin Nostromo n52 that I bought in 2006 and been using it ever since. Couldn't fly without it now.Phil Asus Maximus Hero XI , i7-8086, 16 Gb RAM, nVidia GTX 1080 ti

February 10, 201214 yr I posted in the mini-review thread. I specifically bought it to control EZDok views. I would have hated the add on without it.If you have EZDok, read my post. The way I set it up is very logical (at least to me). Every key produces roughly the same view for every aircraft.I cleared out all of my ctl+... keyboard commands from FSX and reassigned them to VC views. I then assigned all of the ctl+... to g13 keys. It works great. I rarely use keyboard commands in FS so all of default FSX ones were really wasting space.I believe you can also program macros to each key. I Imagine you could assign "shift+e, 1; shift+e, 2; shift+e, 3" as one keystroke to open/close the doors assigned to those commands. I haven't tried it yet. February 10, 201214 yr Author Great feedback duckbilled and yes, the macro functionality works perfectly! i am using ctrl+shft+w as well as Shft+E+2 for secondary doors. Wish someone would have said something about these little gadgets earlier, they are great!-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
February 10, 201214 yr These gadgets are very neet. I have used the older but similar Nostromo by Belkin for several years.
