Very nice, can't wait for it to come out, too bad they aren't doing a special scheme for the first 800....that would've been really cool. Chris: Can't wait to see your 800 either, get to work!!!! Luv your SWA paints!!!Awesome news and thread, please keep us updated.
I couldn't agree anymore with you, a lot has changed in the company, I was expecting a special -800 also. But who knows! It all might change when we get the first -800 max!

Any Idea when Painting is done? I live really close to the plant and wouldn't mind getting some Hi Rez Shots of her!

Awesome!! ETOPS on the nose gear door and something over the rear door, interesting!

According to the thread on Anet, it's the ship number. Apparently they're going to start painting it there too.

I was pretty happy to see it. I'm surprised the SWA blog doesn't have these yet, they've been updating the progress of the plane along the way. I've been wondering if they'd paint the flap canoes a different color since the reason for red on the -700's was to alert the ground crew of the wider span, and the -800's are even wider than the -700's. I guess I have my answer now. I like the looks of it, now I just want to see a 717 get the SWA paint.

What I wouldn't give for an exact color mix for that blue. I don't care to admit how many hours I've spend trying different mixes. :(
