They eventually closed down Air Jamaica which caused more debate, and they have been aggressively trying to acquire Liat. Which I hope will never happen for many reasons. Caribbean Airlines which bought Air Jamaica has plans to keep Air Jamaica name operating. Who told you that Air Jamaica will be shut down and the name will be eliminated in favor of Caribbean Airlines name?Aharon
