March 5, 201214 yr Hi i am having a problem and was wondering if anyone here could help.At the end of a passenger mission you get the scoring system, i never seem to be able to get the points for Passenger Happy.I have no clue why this is because i never hear any complaints from them during take off/in flight/landing and the Passenger Icon is constantly ticked.Could anyone advise me as to what i need to do to make the passengers happy?
March 5, 201214 yr It has to do smooth flying. No taxi bumps, good take off, smooth ride and landing, NO acrobatics. (the passenger icon will show you the mood green, yellow or red) Edited March 5, 201214 yr by Kabronicus Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 5, 201214 yr I also never had a passenger happy. It seems you only have to make one small mistake (liking taxiing with one wheel on the grass) to get zero points for hapiness... Luckily I don't care about achievements and whatnot: I do the missions and jobs because it prevents me from feeling utterly alone out there and because it's nice to have a goal for your flight.
March 5, 201214 yr Author It just bugs me that there is no visual or any sound to say you made them unhappy.
March 5, 201214 yr I basically quit worrying about happy passengers. You can lose the bonus in a variety of ways, including taxiing too fast or turning too fast during a taxi. Too hard landings, too steep banks, flying too low (or too high, although I've never had that complaint), getting into rough air, etc.Just keep at it, and eventually practice will have you flying well enough to get some satisfied passengers.Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I just concentrate on proper taxing procedures, take off and landings. If you're more focused on making fake passengers happy you will never be 100% focused on what's most important. March 5, 201214 yr Author Thanks for the replies I guess its one of those things that will come when you least expect it.
March 5, 201214 yr Mine are happy most of the times. If you touch down too hard it'll kill happiness in one fell swoop. I have never gotten "partially" happy passengers. It's either max or nothing.
March 5, 201214 yr It just bugs me that there is no visual or any sound to say you made them unhappy.Yes...we want to hear their blood curdling screams! :lol: Cheers, Jonathan
March 5, 201214 yr Yea, I have never had this happen, generally, all passengers have been happy thus far. :) Randy
March 5, 201214 yr Author But are you getting the happy bonus?The Passenger Icon in the top right hand corner with a green tick means nothing for that bonus, as i have that in every flight and nothing else, yet still do not get the passenger happy bonus at the end of a job.
March 5, 201214 yr I've had one happy passenger. The unhappy ones were for the following reasons... one I miscalculated my approach and circled around, guess they didn't like that. The check mark turned into a question mark until I was approaching the runway again. The other time was a sight seeing mission, and the woman asked me to land somewhere cause she had to use the bathroom. Since I couldn't bring the map up to find an airstrip, I just ignored her. She apparently had her little accident in my plane. So when I finally landed she wasn't too happy.
March 5, 201214 yr When doing a job with Mr Prostatic or Ms. Small Bladder onboard, just land anywhere.Even on top of a volcano; that will get you up to 1000 XP points. Edited March 5, 201214 yr by Kabronicus Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 5, 201214 yr Author Thanks guess i'll look out for that, i just think the requirements are just odd, it would be nice at the end of the mission that it gave you reason's they they are not happy and that is why you didn't get the extra 1000xp bonus.
