Hawaii Airport List

Featured Replies

I found 36, not counting closed Bellows.

Some of the dirt airstrips need a spot on landing.

Well, after a few days I can see why MS Flight dropped the word 'Simulator'. It's an arcade game. But a damn good one.Although I've been flying since SubLogic was running the show and I love the complexity of FSX I must say that I've really enjoyed my time spent on MS Flight (or is it Flight Unlimited?).The one thing I did need though was a list of airports and the associated runway compass headings/altitude as once in a mission you can't go back to the map.I have attached the Hawaii Airports.pdf file for those of you who just need the same quick fix. It really comes in handy when flying at night. Don't expect too much.Fly well.BR

Well Done :) Ive probably lost the plot, but I cant seem to find the download? Clicking the Hawaii Airports.pdf text does nothing for me!

Anyway, as you used to use SubLogic, the little maps with the airports and compass roses round the VOR's were invaluable. No clutter just straightforward things you needed to know. I learned all my VOR navigation from those as you had no choice, it was learn it or, go nowhere or get lost. I brought a 360 protractor and some clear film and a chinagraph pencil. Id place the protractor on the vor, get the bearing and then draw lines and intersections and followed those. It was surprisingly accurate. If I had some time Id love to re-create those.
