March 7, 201214 yr One annoying thing I have noticed when flying missions, etc, etc is the inability to bring up the map which is a bit of an annoyance. For the landing strip that do have some sort of radio frequency, I'd actually like to know what it is or have the radio tuned before I take off...

March 7, 201214 yr If you like me like to use Google Earth for navigation and flight planning, I created a list of placemarks for all MS Flight Hawaiian airports with their names and IDs.The result "kmz" file may be downloaded here or here (the forum did not allow me to attach it to the post :( ).
March 8, 201214 yr Author OK, After the requests for Navaids I've updated the file to include the real world VORs that are usable in Flight. The ones that are greyed out are unusable, for example the NDBs which I hope will be available in future expansion packs.BR Blackrat

April 20, 201214 yr I looked at the list in another pos and the pdf t and i know i've landed at all the ports listed. i checked the career file and compared it to the list and there were three missing in mine. HI 28, HI 29, and HI 31. I know i've landed on these fields, but i went back to them and landed. No achievement. Frustrating. Any advice? and btw, my unique airfields number is 35. what's up with that. with 3 missing, shouldn't it be 33?

Well I certainly don't know the answer, but If nothing is forthcoming here, you might try the Steam Flight forum, where Microsoft staff are openly available. We are all connected..... August 17, 201213 yr Hi everyone, I'm new to both MS Flight and this forum and am loving the game. For some reason the hyperlink to the file for airports doesn't seem to be working. Am I doing something wrong? Also, does anyone know if there is a similar file for Alaskan airfields? It'd be great to know the altitude of the strip and the approach? Many thanks
August 17, 201213 yr I don't think anyone ever compiled a list from the in-game data, but you can look up the real-world data at http://www.airnav.com/airports/ It should be about the same. You can search by the name of the airport, the city, or the identifier code Flight gives. So, "Merrill", "Anchorage" or "PAMR" would all bring you to the page for Merrill Field. There's a lot more info there than you need, but you'll find the field elevation and runway directions, if that's what you're looking for.
