March 9, 201214 yr Did you know that if you hit "E" just as you go full throttle, the plane will continue down the runway without you?
March 9, 201214 yr You can also hit "F" while taxing below 10 kts and refuel on the run! Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 9, 201214 yr Author Make sure you hold the brake (x) then set your trim to up, hit "E" then, release the break. I did this with the RV and it took off, did some porposing, then started to perform tighter and tighter turns around the airport! LOL!
March 9, 201214 yr Yes! I've done that many times! It's hilarious! Lost a couple of my aircraft that way :P Happy Flying, Clem Wu Beta Tester for OZx, Iris Simulations and Shade.
March 10, 201214 yr Did you know that if you hit "E" just as you go full throttle, the plane will continue down the runway without you?Just did your trick. Amazing, sort of "I lost my flight".LMAO :Hypnotized: :LMAO: Oh. God, I should report this as a BUG. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 10, 201214 yr No! Don't report it, this is fun :lol:Sorry, too late. (I cant delete a post there) Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 10, 201214 yr Author How do you get back in to the aircraft? Is 'E' a proximity thing?Hi! You can't get back into the aircraft... ever!I'm just kidding... leave the session, go to the hanger, pick the plane you want, then go to a field or start in the air. There may be another way but that's what I do.
March 10, 201214 yr Leave this. Each years there is a couple of pilot that succed in letting their plane go alone on the tarmac.Regulation even had to stipulate that it is forbidden to let an airplane running with nobody able to kill the motor if somerhing run havoc. PierreP3D when its freezing in Quebec....well, that's most of the time...C-GDXL based at CYQB for real flying when its warming up...
March 10, 201214 yr Commercial Member A friend and I discovered this during the beta. Quite funny to watch. Brandon Filer
March 10, 201214 yr Also funny: land the Icon without the gear down. After you have come to a VERY QUICK halt, press G and... see yourself rise...! Wonder if the real plane does that too. Woulnd't surprise me, actually...
