The thing that annoys me is it's the same download size as a full plane would be. If I buy this, will I get the mechanics for free when they do appear?Does the landing gear button work in this? I'm assuming it does...

What are the flashing and flickering lights in the distance?

Yeah, just for this exact reason above, I am really looking forward to all the DLCs that get released. This game is stunning! I am tempted to buy another graphics card for SLI just so it can run better!

Yeah, the canyons are just stunning! Really enjoy flying low, especially at dusk and dawn. The shadows are spectacular!

I tend to use the top down view a fair bit during missions to land. When I get close I have to circle a little, but it's usually ok. Used it for the little airstrip photographer mission. Some of those are hard to see! and land... :)

what happens when you get caught?

How do you get back in to the aircraft? Is 'E' a proximity thing?

I'm still not quite sure how to use the tracking beacon thing. It doesn't update all that quickly, so I don't know if I am going in the right direction...is it just me?

Is it recognised as an airport?

Yeah Tassie would be nice. Quite similar to WA. Gorges, great coastline and mountains...I would love to see an improvement over the Perth area from FSX. (Can't afford ORBX as much as I would love it!).

I'm in Western Australia. It's not too bad for me. I had another look and it seems to have died down a fair bit, but it's only after I turned myself to Private. Will have another look tonight on a fresh day. Yeah we get shaped to just above double dialup speed. I then tend to use my work iPad instead for net stuff.

Australia as a DLC would be awesome! My home! That would make me very happy.

I'm running Vista SP2. Don't seem to have a Resource Monitor though...

So I was on for about an hour or so today, and I have used almost a gig in my usage for my broadband. Does anyone have any idea what it is? I think it might be that I am still set to public on the multiplayer profile.Any ideas?

So i downloaded something the other night because i watched it right up until 1.2 gig downloaded. I come home (been out for dinner), and get the process going again and it says failed to install, can't extract the .cab file. I go and find it myself, and it says it's 0 bytes. I deleted it and started again, but it just keeps putting it back. I may need to re download it, but have no idea what do delete in order for the PC to think it isnt there. It's a long weekend in Australia, so I cant call Microsoft Support until Tuesday morning. I really want to get this installed!Can someone help? What do I need to do? I would like to not install it again as it will chew through my monthly download allowance, but I will if I have to.Thanks in advanceJohnsan

So it turns out that my .cab file is a huge 0 bytes. I tried deleting it and starting again, but it just reappeared. Any ideas? It definitely downloaded something! I watched it until about 1.2 gig. I did have to leave the computer unattended. Could that be the problem?
