HiAnyone else familiar with this problem?I think I've tried everything; re-install of Flight, GFWL etc, with or without AV enabled, clean start up of Windows and so on.I've intermittently got Flight to work, lastly I've actually flown quite a few missions, but now suddenly this message is back...Any ideas?

More than familiar. Still get this every once in a while. I saved away my flight installation files. So I can run setup again and select repair installation. Then a reboot and all fine again. Annoying but works.

Always smart. I keep a full backup FSX installation on another drive to replace damaged/corrupted/altered or otherwise uffed files.

Hmm, how did you save original installation files?Seems like mine just downloaded and installed all at the same time? Has been several days so I can't really remember the exact process I went through. I know I changed the directory in I guess GFWL, after that seemed like the rest was automatic... would I still have original install files located somewhere?

Smart as MS is the installation cab file is deleted once you click install. The base pack does not install automatically - unlike other DLC - if you download via GfW marketplace. So before you click install 'just' locate the download. It is a cab file in your temp directory. That cab file you can unzip with eg winzip and run setup from there. I saved an unzipped cab file to accommodate my reinstalls / repairs. Saves me another 1.4gb download

Ah ok , too bad I did not have the foresight/knowledge to do this when I downloaded the base pack. Here's to hoping I never need it!

Lucky you if you don't need it. It shows me the corrupted installation message more than I like

Have you tried sending the Flight team an email with the exact message regarding this issue? Also I see Scruffyduck asked skydiver for a screenshot, I think he is a guy that probaby can help as well - there are several guys here that were on the beta that still have access to the beta forums, they have been relaying issues on them as well and providing feedback.Hope you get that resolved soon, that has to be extremely annoying!

Here's the screenshot attached.I don't think it's a hard drive issue. I have two drives. Primary is SSD, secondary SATA. I've tried installing to both - same results. the installation itself was nearly impossible, had to do a unpack of the cab-file to get it installed in the first place...

Like Jon scruffyduck said:Screenshot is fineBut Wee need more info to send. Error Messages, Problem Reports etc.Does the error trigger an error event?Look for it on Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> ApplicationDoes the error generate an “Error Report”?Look for it by typing “View all Problem Reports” (w/o quotations) on the Start Menu, open the applet and search for GFWL or Flight Application problem reports. If you find any, copy and paste that info here, and it will be relayed it to the Beta site.

Unfortunatly there is not much to show and send. Just the screenshot just posted above. And Flight then quits once I click ok.

Look in your event viewer in Windows for error messages regarding the Flight program, if there are copy and paste them as well.
