Fs2Crew SP1 Recommendations

Hi there,I just had one of my closest friends round yesterday who is a 737-800 F.O and ran him through the 737 fs2crew.As discussed he made some observations.1) NADP differs in #Europe to the rest of the world. Ryanair [largest operator of 737's] along with 90% of European airlines normally use NADP2 as follows:1500ft, cmd A. Bug up speed [always 220 in fs2crew regardless of weight?!?]. Retract flaps. 3000ft agl/above Vnav engage.2) Anti ice is turned on/off incorrectly in FS2Crew. When engaging Anti ice, continuous ignition is first THEN turn on ONE engine anti-ice [in case of ice build up leading to engine failure], when the light has distinguished then the second engine anti ice is put on. FS2crew puts the switches on at the same time, then continuous thrust.3) As mentioned in a previous post about the hydraulic pumps. ENG and HYD pumps A are turned off prior to P/S in most airlines, this is good airmanship and in case the ground crew forget the pin, then that is one of the most expensive and easy ways to break a Boeing 737. Can we maybe discuss trying to do this for SP1?4) I am noticing mouse clicks on most of the files [uK]5) Apon arrival, doors are opened by the cabin crew before they are instructed too, [often just after engine shut down] with AES it takes a little time for the jetway/stairs to reach the aircraft and the doors would certainly be opened after that time.6) On previous versions, there was a lot more interaction with engineer crew/fuel/ and cabin staff. There used to be calls from the crew that a seat cushion needed repair, out of food/cups or a malfunction in IFE etc. Also, you used to be able to sign fuel slips and maintenence logs, and your signature would come up. That was really nice and hopefully it will make a return.Although a lot of points have been raised here, it is just getting to the little things, the software is fantastic and it is smooth stable and transforms the flying experience. My highlight is landing and taxing to the apron and all I have to say is "ok to clean up" and I can concentrate on actually taxiing the aircraft!Cheers!Alex

Alex, did you read the NADP section in the manual ? THose altitudes are changable according to the situation,..they are not hard coded. NADP procedures vary by airport and alot of other variables.2) This is already done for SP13)This is NOT CORRECT, that is not even Boeing SOP4) Me or bryan have not noticed any mouse clicks, anyone else notice any ?5) This is already in for the SP as well

I have to agree 'aceridgey' here. In the UK version (maybe in others too!) after a F/O says something, a mouse-click can be heard (perhaps not in all of his 'speeches' but in quite a few)

OK, I'll ask Bryan to get some other beta testers to help identify the clicks and get them fixed

I've looked at the UK sound files... there's no discernible 'click' in the actual recording. Please try it with the US voice set and let me know if you hear the same thing.

I'll do it tomorrow. Computer is off and it's time to finally go to bed (flightsimming is addictive!; nothing new really)

Hi Alex,The 'clicks' sounds I can't reproduce. I just tried the Brit voice set and it sounded smooth. It could just be something hardware specific in your case.Damien make some comments above, and since he flies the NG for real, I'm going with his word.WAI and EAI I've updated as per your suggestion, as that is procedurally correct. That was a good one :Party:Doors I'll check the timing. As for for pillows and cups: I can bring that stuff in in later updates. It's easy to code in.My focus right now is just on correcting the little bugs before bringing in new features.Cheers,

So here I am, a bit late. I am flying just now and using the UK voice, I have noticed at least two F/O speeches that ended in a click: 'Cabin crew take your seats' (when approaching the runway) and 'Ready to go' (when lining-up on runway)

My recommendations are:- fix the different FO-voices You will hear the "kindly old-man" FO-voice known from the Jetstream US-voice version when you play both the dep and app-brief.This voice doesn`t match the regular US-voice version.- I don`t want to play every time this boring departure and approach brief.I want it like the Jetstream version, so you have just ask for it ("are you ready for the ... brief? Any questions?").

That"s already in,..did you try saying it ? works for me,..

Hi Damien, this works only for the dep-brief.You have to play the approach-brief to tricker the pre-decent phase!Otherwise he won`t get to the next phase. Can you confirm this?

It works for the approach brief too. Wait for him to finish his flow and do the descent checklist.
