NGX FSUIPC

Featured Replies

Hi y'all.

I had bought FSUIPC and it messed up all my controls. I use Saitek product. I went on FSUIPC forum and did not get much help. Pete was trying to help but he noted that NGX is one of the airplanes which hard to be configured via FSUIPC. I spent weeks to make it work but it did not work. I was suggested to go back to FSX settings. Calibration through FSUIPC did not work, I had to do it inside FSX. I was able to assign Rudder pedals only and elevator trim through FSUIPC. That's it. I ask many people for help but still no luck. So far FSUIPC doesn't work for me as I expected. It is odd to me why some people can use FSUIPC and some of them don't.

Thanks.

Dear all,

I also have the known problem with the PMDG 737 NGX that A/T and VNAV disengages randomly when the TOGA button is pressed and the throttle axis is calibrated through FSUIPC.

The general recommendation to cure the issue is to turn off the calibration of the throttle axis in FSUIPC.

What is the easiest way to turn off the calibration in FSUIPC? Just to uncheck 'Send direct to FSUIPC calibration' and to check 'Send to FS as normal axis' on the 'Axis Assignment' tab?

Thanks for your help,

Ulrich

I have the Saitek yoke, throttles, pedals, and various switches. I always struggled with the set up. While I had the full version of FSUIPC I never quite understood how to set up axis. Until ...

I have been a follower of Angle Of Attack AOA for quite some time. Recently they released an excellent video showing how to set up FSUIPC specifically for the NGX. Since that day everything works very well, including the reverse (available for each engine separately ) and the spoiler as an axis.

I am not trying to promote AOA but I have to admit that I have learnt a lot from them. Their video on setting up EZCA and trackIR was great too.

I have the same experience with the guide from AoA, everything works smooth after deleting all mappings in FSX and then map through FSUIPC.

Thanks Swissflyer/ Mosteen.

To which video package from AOA are you referring (Ground Work, Flight Work, Line Work)?

Ulrich

The AoA lesson on FSUIPC is on Flight Work. Along with another 3 interesting videos.

Ground Work is now complete (I think). Line work has a series of videos teaching work flows before and during the flight but no actual flights for now.
