I didn't notice anyone pointing out that you have two entries for your GTX 580 video card. As in:[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580.1]Mode=1920x1200x32You should only have one of them. I suggest getting rid of the one listed just before your [TRUSTED] .dll's.-Neil

Affinitymask=14 is a big culprit for blurries. FSX needs the first core, period. Yes, you may lose some frames, but it's for you to choose between crisp textures or high fps and massive blurriness. If that doesn't satisfy you, use ingame limiter to limit frames to for example 30. Get rid of also MaxAsync jobs. I run my FSX without most of the so called "tweaks" (BP=0 is pretty much the only one I use) and it is performing really well. NickN's guide is the best way to go when you have to deal with blurriness and to avoid system overloading. ACES guys weren't dumb and there is a reason why many of the "tweaks" aren't in the config originally.

To the OPIt must be your raid setup. You should not be having blurry issues with your rig specs unless your OC is too high also.

Hey guys, not too off subject I hope, but can anyone tell me whether it's still possible to run the BufferPools tweak in P3D?

Yes it is. This is covered in P3D forum area.

@OP:Delete your CFG, start again, with no tweaks this time.Get rid of the raid setup, useless in FSX.Don´t know why people still use these tweaks with the new fast hardware available?

Well, I am running UsePools=0 and that definitely is working, so I would think that the reject entry would work also. Have you tried it?Bob

Officially retired

Hi Bob, sure. Both work well in my FS setup, thanks. Hope to move to P3D soon.
