March 21, 201214 yr HelloHad a go at Tutorial 2 after I had solved some problems with my SP1C installation and got up to preforming the engine fire warn test. I put the switch into the FAULT/INOP test position and checked to ensure things were illuminated correctly and I noticed that the MASTER CAUTION lights, OVHT/DET lights and the recall were not illuminated. I stopped the test and checked to see if I could make the recall illuminated (since the aircraft was not in T/O configuration it should throw up some warnings) and it would not illuminated. I then did the lights test and they still did not illuminated. The animation in pressing the button worked however it would have no result. I tried a free flight with the aircraft already loading up into its normal (engines on etc...) procedure and it worked. Im assuming I missed something so could anyone tell me what I should be checking? March 21, 201214 yr Author Maybe but I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem and its the same save file. March 21, 201214 yr Commercial Member Remember that the CAUTION panel (ELEC, HYD, etc.. next to the MASTER CAUTION button) is split between Captain and F/O. "OVERHEAD" for example is on the F/O side, much out of view of the Captain (and vice-versa for the F/O). Rather poor design.I have NEVER seen anything requiring use of RECALL/CANCEL yet. What do I need to trigger to get that working?Best regards,Robin.
March 21, 201214 yr Author Just tried the before push-back save and the problem above was fine but the HGS did not work. Could someone with working save files send me theirs? March 21, 201214 yr Just delete the all saved files, .fmc and .sav, the re-install sp1c and it will re-install the new one.On Avsim library you could search for my cold and dark panel state, it was made with sp1b, but sp1b saved flights are fully compatible with sp1c Regards Andrea Daviero

If you don't see the light on your side, look on the other. 60s technology at its finest. Matt Cee
March 21, 201214 yr I don't see why it would be poor design? The warnings on the two panels are on the exact place where they are on the overhead. So warnings on the side of the FO are easiest to fix(in terms of reaching) for the FO, and vice versa. Also, don't forget the flight deck of a 737 is quite cramped in real life, and that's quite an understatement. The saying about the 707-style flight deck has always been "You don't sit in it, you wear it, like a glove.". It is, in fact very easy to see what is announced on the annunciator panel on the other FCM's side. Splitting the six packs makes everything more clear in my eyes. Name available upon request

Could someone with working save files send me theirs? That's because the before push-back state has the HGS blanked with the CLR key on the HGS controller - this is mentioned numerous times in the text.
