March 23, 201214 yr If you are flying VOR to VOR or using accelerated time then yes, this is not unusual. Paul Smith.
March 23, 201214 yr When the autopilot follows the route every so often happens that the plane in the proximity of the VOR makes a few small deflection to the right and left!!!This is normal? Yes it is. When we are too close to the VOR signals strenght is too high (center of the VOR radials) so a/c behavoir could become strange. You have to disconnect NAV/VOR, set next vor radial to intercept 10 miles out. Regards,Francesco Francesco GattaManaging Director / Media Royaldutchvirtual.com
