  1. After months in the making, Royal Dutch Virtual is proud to announce that its pre-registration is now open. http://royaldutchvirtual.com/ Pre-Registration While officially launching on February 7th, 2014, Royal Dutch Virtual is now accepting pilot pre-registrations to facilitate final preparations as well as final system testing. Potential pilots are invited to apply at: https://crew.royaldutchvirtual.com/application/begin Our Mission Royal Dutch Virtual operates with a unique model of operating as closely to KLM as possible while still permitting some of the positive aspects of flight simulation to shine through. Our mission is to provide our pilots with a realistic, organized, professional and fun atmosphere where one can enjoy the pleasure of growing as a pilot to a level similar of that of an airline pilot in a community environment. While we strive for excellence, we do embrace a very important concept that while every attempt is made to operate as a real airline, flights are still done in simulators and the number one priority is to have fun. Flight Points (FiPo) Royal Dutch Virtual is taking a new approach to handling pilot promotions. To remain more realistic, pilots are not promoted solely on hours, but also Flight Points. Flight Points are awarded every flight based on both the time enroute and the Flight Score (flight quality score in the form of a percentage – with the ability to go over 100% in some circumstances). This allows pilots to be promoted as one would in the real world. Flight Network KLM's strength lies in the tightly-knit, worldwide network it has built up with its partners. It would only be correct to replicate the same in the Virtual Airline with the added value of alliances. As such, pilots are able to fly all KLM flights including those carried out by partners through codeshare agreements. KLM's global reach spans to over 1,000 destinations worldwide reachable by both direct flights and in cooperation with its partners. Operations Control Center The Royal Dutch Virtual Operational Control Center (OCC) provides our crew members with the resources and planning capabilities to perform their duties. From assisting in finding an appropriate flight to reviewing flight performance the OCC covers it all. Extensive flight briefings are available containing Weather, NOTAMs, Flight Restrictions, Automated Routing, Automated Weight and Balance and more.

  3. Yes it is Fred, Actually Im using SIOC to drive: Gear lights, Flaps, Warning & Bell lights, Sixpac lights (homemade whit OC panes) ASA lights and Im waiting overhead panels from ProSimParts, MCP-PRO and EFIS from GoFlight and Multiradio usb from OC. I'll send the script asap on PM Regards,
  4. Hi Fred, im building my PMDG737NGX with OpenCockpits cards + SIOC + FSUPC and... I bought locally ( IT ) switches/pushbuttons/leds and so on. - Mimo 720s USB 7" touchscreen as FMC ( really really cheap and very nice ) you save 200€ - Prosimparts company is from Belgium cheaper than i never seen and a very good quality (www.prosimparts.com) Probably you wouldnt need Leo cards. I dont know if you have some experience on programming but sioc is events oriented and you can find tons of scripts on the net. YOu have only to tune them on you buttons,switches and leds position on the I/O cards. Trust me you'll take maybe time to have all ready but this will save your money and big personal satisfacion. You can see what I'm doing here: http://www.youtube.c...71?feature=mhee Best Regards, Francesco
  5. Hi, try this one.. http://www.mediafire.com/?c6wm4sqds0hctal Regards, Francesco
  6. Hi, OPUSFSX can do exactly the same. Regards, Francesco
  7. Thankyou for your support ! Regards, Francesco
  8. Hi Guys, I bought it yesterday morning after have spent almost all friday afternoon/evening/night ( my wife is not very happy) to read treads and try the demo and compare the three.... I'm impressed a lot by Opus. I think there is more to discover than I have done. I've read that there is a camera file for NGX from download page but I don't find it (?). Last, I flew from EBCI to EPKK at FL350 I took some unexpected wind jumps ( tail gusts ? ) that cause overspeed two - three time ( 2/3 seconds long ) what about smooth winds transition ? Overall that's fantastic... it is real !!! congratulations! Best Regards, Francesco Rome, ITALY
  9. Hi, may I have more info about Mimo UM-740 ? It is a secondary monitor for the system. I'm using win7 64bit and I'm flying full screen mode, did you try to use it in Full, it is able to work and it is supported on W7 64 ? ( I see some specifics but nothing say about W764 ) Thanks in advance Francesco
  10. Yes, they are from Belgium. I bought some Ovh panels just to start it, but the OvH Full offer very interesting (including pushbuttons and swithes). Radio Stack with Transponder module are the best manufactured and cheapest that I never seen. They are ready for I/O cards ( ie. OC cards etc.. ). Dahniel is a very nice guy near customer needs oriented. Actually I'm using GoFlight MCP-PRO (A22)+EFIS (driver by Steve), OC module( SIOC) for Flaps/ Autobrakes and LGear Panel, all status annunciators lights available thanks to PMDG SDK, FSUIPC by Pete. Ciao Francesco
  11. Hi guys, Im using Opencockpits products master, I/O cards leds, inputs etc... landing panels Flaps and brakes panels with working lights ( they are using standard Offsets) and I have some issues with rotary and PMDG NGX and Im planning to build the overhead panel but I have some difficulties as Im not a programmer. Does anyone of you knows how I can read the status light and switches from NGS/SDK in order to become them readable SIOC ? I know that OpenCockpits is working on that .... Best wishes Francesco
  12. Hi Steve and Hi all, here everything seems working good wiht beta 2. Can you confirm the version file .exe is 0.7.30.0 ? Can we hold the oldest conf 0.6.54.0 file under PollyPot directory? Im using MCP-PRO A22 directly connected to the Mother Board USB ( no additional power ) andI have to set Write Delay to 40 and CMD Delay 50 no freezes and it is real updated !! If this can help someone. Thanks a lot for you work and ask if need to testing... anytime. Francesco
  13. Yes it is. When we are too close to the VOR signals strenght is too high (center of the VOR radials) so a/c behavoir could become strange. You have to disconnect NAV/VOR, set next vor radial to intercept 10 miles out. Regards,Francesco
  14. Hi Guys It also is driving me crazy cause I had the bad idea to install Win7 64 Pro in italian. is there a solution ? I tried to install vistazlizator but exe doesn't work (?). does SP1 removal work ?Regards,Francesco
  15. Hi Dietmar, unfortunately no success.Thanks for posting the amazing Linda link, really appreciated !Regards,FRancesco
  16. Thanks very much Dietmar,what shoud I do for a test, copy it in a txt file called .lua then put it in the module folder and also modify fsuip.ini ?ThanksFrancesco
  17. Hi Guys...I would like to use a lua script for autobrake system in order to use some buttons already configured in FSUIPC.How to use sintax in a scripts for buttons ?This coming from NGX linda module## Autobrake ###############function NGX_AUTOBRAKE_inc () ipc.control(70092, 16384) NGX_AUTOBRAKE_show ()endfunction NGX_AUTOBRAKE_dec () ipc.control(70092, 8192) NGX_AUTOBRAKE_show ()endfunction NGX_AUTOBRAKE_show () if ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 0 then DspShow ("ABRK", "RTO") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 10 then DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 20 then DspShow ("ABRK", "1") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 30 then DspShow ("ABRK", "2") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 40 then DspShow ("ABRK", "3") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 50 then DspShow ("ABRK", "MAX") endendshould I add something like that?event.button(65, 5, "OFF")event.button(65, 8, "RTO")event.button(65, 9, "1")event.button(66, 15, "2")event.button(65, 6, "3")event.button(65, 17, "MAX")Thanks in advance for your supportFrancesco
  18. I've also found this...from Linda forum-- ## Autobrake ###############function NGX_AUTOBRAKE_inc () ipc.control(70092, 16384) NGX_AUTOBRAKE_show ()endfunction NGX_AUTOBRAKE_dec () ipc.control(70092, 8192) NGX_AUTOBRAKE_show ()endfunction NGX_AUTOBRAKE_show () if ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 0 then DspShow ("ABRK", "RTO") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 10 then DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 20 then DspShow ("ABRK", "1") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 30 then DspShow ("ABRK", "2") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 40 then DspShow ("ABRK", "3") elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 50 then DspShow ("ABRK", "MAX") endendbut how in the script call the buttons ? as i did in the previous scripts addingevent.button(65, 5, "OFF")event.button(65, 8, "RTO")event.button(65, 9, "1")event.button(66, 15, "2")event.button(65, 6, "3")event.button(65, 17, "MAX")is this enought ?Regards,Francesco
  19. Hi guys...as per Dietmar data how should be wrote my lua autobrake script, something like this? (Lua script needs to call my virtual joystick buttons on FSUIPC )If you get 5 mins could you help me testing this? function NGX_AUTOBRAKE_OFF ()if ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 0 thenipc.control(70092, 16384)DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF")elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 10 thenDspShow ("ABRK", "OFF")elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 20 thenipc.control(70092, 8192)DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF")elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 30 thenipc.control(70092, 8192)ipc.control(70092, 8192)DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF")elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 40 thenipc.control(70092, 8192)ipc.control(70092, 8192)ipc.control(70092, 8192)DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF")elseif ipc.readLvar('ngx_switch_460_a') == 50 thenipc.control(70092, 8192)ipc.control(70092, 8192)ipc.control(70092, 8192)ipc.control(70092, 8192)DspShow ("ABRK", "OFF")endendevent.button(65, 5, "OFF")event.button(65, 8, "RTO")event.button(65, 9, "1")event.button(66, 15, "2")event.button(65, 6, "3")event.button(65, 17, "MAX")Thanks,Francesco
  20. Thanks guys for your replies, appreciated.I tried some weeks ago to trace NGX status led with the precious help provided by Steve cause im bulding my HC based on NGX with OC cards.I have found only some readouts from APU status led, APU EGT values and so on... but nothing about MIP annunciators and others. Im waiting for NGX SDK as other people. This is why im interesting about what you are doing ( im not a programmer or developer ... ) So could be cool share infos whit you guys, If you agree.I do confirm that SICO can assign virtual joy read by FSUIP ( My OvH toggles work with them and macros ) and it seems that SICO can call LUA commands from its scrips. That could be cool whit led status and switches/butttons and so on ( for the readable data of course )Best Regards,FRancesco
  21. thanks DietmarI can assign virtual button from OC cards so can I use LUA script to interface my stuff whit NGX ?or..I would like to call ( execute) a LUA function when I toogle a switch that is defined in SIOClike:Var 74 Link IOCARD_SW Input 65 Type I{IF v74 = 1{ call LUA function toggleVORL( or something like this)} Steve, Dietmar do you think that would it be possible ?Regards,Francesco
  22. Hi Dietmar,could be so kind to post ipc data regarding speed ref and n1 ?I did some traces days ago on NGX as I'm using OC cards and SIOC.Regards,Francesco
  23. Hi guys...I'm using MCP-PRO with A22 on a Motherboard USB2 single port (Win7 x64) plus Steve's LUA sript and no more loockups.Shipping to US from UE ( Italy ) costs more than 90€, maybe no borders charges ( GoFlight said ) but... 6 weeks waiting is unacceptable!I don't know why GoFlight has not a UE partner to serve their UE customers... ( I bought MCPRO with A22 later 2009 per 600€ in Milan.. )Regards,Francesco
  24. I'm using i7 2600K, GTX570, 12GB, SSD128GB FSX dedicated, no OC. FPS 28/30 on the ground more than 30 in the air ... very smooth both JS41 and NGX 800/900 - 600/700.FSX.CFG is bojote tweaked and some personal Nvidia inspector fine tuning Regards,
