I fly for BAVirtual, who in real life have one of the largest fleets of B777-300`s in operation.

The ER gets my vote.

United was the launch customer for those, I think.

United was launch customer for the actual 777 program.

Really? I thought it was only the -200 non-ER.

Which is the first varient of the 777, UAL took delivery of the first 777 ever to be released to a customer.

I wonder why they haven't ordered any 777-300ERs... They still have those original 777-200s.

And the 200ER. They probably don't want or need the 300's.

Yeah BA were the first customer with the GE90's though. I believe UA and BA have one of the current biggest 772/ER Fleets. Not sure how close AA come close to them!

They have 47 772ER's but it seems they use a lot of 767's for the shorter long hauls.

I'd have to say the -200 ERs followed by the -300ER. I really do not see myself doing 10+++ hour routes. Even though they are less efficient than A333 on medium haul routes, these are the legs I'm most likely to do.. I'm not too keen on accelerating the simulation as it kind of ruins the essence of sim flying for me. Smart choice by PMDG though to model the LR first, as lots of OCDish simmers just dont see themselves flying around in BA or SQ LRs. As Augstus Kwembe off Facejacker would say, 'I love the monies, your money, monies'.

Well since they are similar in size to the 200's you can treat them as such, it will be weird to fly an AA 777 with non RR engines but that's one detail I'm willing to overlook for now.

I have picked the two types of aircraft that BA operate (Boeing 777-200ER & Boeing 777-300ER)...

I think when PMDG release their wonderful product I will operate mainly the B772 and then maybe grow into the B77W as I am sure they feel quite different to fly :)
