Airbus sounds..TSS or ESC?

Featured Replies

Wondering if anyone has experience with both...or a preference for one or the other? I am looking for some decent sounds for the Airbus 318-19-20-21 family, and both manufacturers offer what (in the preview videos) seem to be great soundpacks. Anyone care to add an opinion? I know it is a matter of realism, and also a matter of taste...maybe I will buy both, but before I do I wouldn't mind hearing from the masses!

TSS ones are usually good, and I generally trust their efforts, I have a few of those, including their Airbus A300 one and their Triple Seven one. TSS have provided sounds for some good quality payware aircraft, that I do know. Not knowing the other ones I could not say what they are like, however, if you have a look on Simmarket.com, they do have a few videos on sound product pages, where you can get a bit of a preview of many sound sets, which is invariably worth doing before coughing up any cash.Al

I was looking for some Embraer sounds to replace the FS9 ones supplied with the Feelthere Ejets.Trouble is TSS never specify if they're true FSX sounds with cones etc.

All of TSSs latest soundpacks have soundcones for FSX. They produce a version for Fs2004 and FSX these days.Easiest way to see is just to view the product video and get an idea of what it is like. For example in the video he will always do many views so you can work out if theres soundcones or not. After watching the video it definitely seems like theres soundcones. If still unsure watch the FS2004 version of the video as well, then you will hear a difference between the two for sure.Craig

I would go for ESC as the provide a mix of good quality sounds at an affordable price and there new A320 soundest is in HD so t should be as good as TSS. I think you get better value for money with ESC.Aaron G.

Most TSS sound are genrally realistic especially their recent HD series. However, i found that they mix a bit too much cabin engine sounds together with the cockpit sounds that it sound quite different from a real world cockpit. At least that is my opinion. I have no experience with ESC but their preview sounds good,

Thanks guys! I will most likely try the ESC one first...then, If I am not satisfied, the TSS. Either way, it isn't a terribly expensive proposition

I personally have and like TSS on my Airbus, but everyone has different taste.

TSS blows away everything by miles....
