Hey all,

I think most of us have had enough time to figure out what configuration we like our NGX set up to. How do you like your cockpit displays, and why? I prefer the EFIS/Map set up the most. There is just something about having a digital six pack in the flight deck.

What about you?

Jared Listinsky

For me PFD/MFD. But I sometimes use EFIS.

I use what the real company use for their machine.

Kind regards

Peter

Do some real-world airline actually use EFIS?!

I much prefer PFD/ND over EFIS/MAP. To me, EFIS/MAP is cluttered..

Southwest used it until the switch to RNP. Continental also used it I'm fairly

sure. And it's quite possible some are still flying that way for United now.

The main reason they used it was they also had 737 classics, and wanted

common training with the newer NG's.

I'd much rather use the PFD/MFD. Like Mark said, the EFIS is too cluttered, ugly, and hard to read.

Same here.

Yes. United, Southwest (they used to), and Alaska (I believe).

Alaska uses PFD/ND.

I usually use whatever configuration is closest to the real world airline I am simulating. But If i where to choose my own personal option I would go with the PFD/MFD and HUGS and short field package and every other thing nice on the 737 :Drooling:

Sure, I believe GOL still uses it on their 737NGs
