April 10, 201214 yr Turn off the Avidyne and use the GNS400! Frames went from 30 to 60 when toggling the Avidyne. Hoping they will patch it in a few weeks and that will help out this issue!

April 11, 201214 yr There's a weather radar in that plane? I couldn't spot that gauge on the screenshots. Does it help to reduce the map detail on the Avidyne by the way?
April 11, 201214 yr In Prepar3D there is definitely a slight hit with that thing but it's not a 30fps hit. I assume same should be in FSX. I set clear skies so there is no cloud induced FPS variance. April 11, 201214 yr I can confirm on the hit with the Avidyne, about 5 - 10 fps lost here in FSX. I use the "flightplan Log"-page and then the hit is only about 3 - 5 fps. Best regards,
April 11, 201214 yr Author Yah I don't understand why my system is getting so hard on frames with the Avidyne! I will turn off the Weather Radar and see if that helps! Thanks :Peace:
April 27, 201214 yr How do you get the read out in the upper left on these screenshots? What software provides that info? Thanks. --- Jim ---
