Okay thanks can you remember which month in FS2004 or FSX calender did you set your FSX or FS2004 for this flight, please so that I can pinpoint the view of Aurora lights, please?

Sorry I do not remember the date, I did not set a specific date, I just started the sim and set the

time to dawn. Try taking off from Oslo at dawn, and see if it works.

Fly between Archangel and any Scandinavian country and you will most likely see the effect in FS.
