PMDG addon pricing query

Featured Replies

Bazza???? is that you??? If you want to come around to my place and have a quick peek at both the 600/700 and the 800/900 pack, I'll let ya! Maybe that'll convince you it's worth the AUD$52.00 600/700 and AUD$30 800/900 (promotional price only). I have paid for a few in my time and guarantee this tops my list of add-ons.

Personally, I think that PMDG should have done a Stand Alone 899/900 for those who don't have the product yet, and sold it for the same $40, but offer an upgrade version for the $22 for those who already bought the 600/700.But the fact of the matter is that the market dictates the price. If this upgrade was offered for $35, instead of the present $22 and (soon to be) $27, a lot of people would have still bought it. The addon is just that good. But more than the addon itself, is the customer service. It is the best I've ever seen. And I'm not taking anything away from Dreamfleet, Flight1, RAS, etc., but these guys are absolutely amazing. The only thing that rattles them is when someone doesn't sign their name to their posts, but other than that, if you want a coffe-maker installed in the 2D cockpit, they will do it. Unlike some other "nothing new will be added" developers. While I symphatize with some who can't afford it, I have to say that I think its worth the money. Bottom line, if you can't afford it, you can't.Hell, I can't afford a Ferrarri, so I'll buy a Nissan. But you don't see me complaining to Ferrarri that their bloody car is to darn expensive!!!!
