May 3, 201214 yr Just wanted to verify the correct procedure when flying a second leg, when you are finished running the shutdown checklist you simply press 'Run PF' again but what I was mainly wondering is it seems you must also manually advance from 'Securing aircraft' mode to 'Preflight' - is this correct? I also noticed that the FO won't start the APU although I've chosen APU/EX on the configuration page. Not a big deal though, easy enough to do that myself but just wanted to check it's not me doing anything out of order...?
May 3, 201214 yr Hi Richard... I also read from the manual, that you must manually advance to Preflight again. I always do this, and it give me not problems. The CP will speak "Let's start setting up for the next sector", and FO reply: "ok", and then he begins the preflight flow, which is slightly different than "first flight of the day" on some points... I never use APU/EX myself, so I don't have any experiences on that issue... Mas Martin Jensen

Correct, after completing the shutdown checklist, manually change the mode to PreFlight and press "Run PF" events again. Not sure about the APU: Anyone else able to reproduce? B. May 4, 201214 yr Author Ok, thanks guys! Will do some more testing, yesterday was the first time I tried this.
May 5, 201214 yr Author Have done some more testing and it seems the FO won't start the APU on a second leg as part of his preflight procedures so you have to do it manually. Another thing I've noticed is the chocks are not removed automatically before pushback on a second leg but you have to do this yourself too...not sure though when I think about it if this is normally handled by FS2Crew or Aerosoft AES...hmm...gets confusing sometimes to have all these addons although they are all great!

May 5, 201214 yr Author Ok, thanks for confirming and what about the chocks because I believe they are normally handled by FS2Crew.
May 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member Chocks should be handled by FS2Crew. I'll check. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
May 8, 201214 yr For the chock issue, are you sure that the chocks are being placed to "on" on arrival? I've seen it several times that the program will put them "on" then "off" quickly. Maybe it's doing that, then putting them "on" when it should be taking them "off"? Steve Caffey
