Fun routes in the US

Featured Replies

You kidding us, right? At my PC, FSDT reduce frame rate down to 5fps, while with default one frame rate hits the 50fps.

i be looking at my pc if your having fps hit like that i got all the fsdt dream airports and have no issues with fps at all

Well, PC is obviously not state of art, but there is simply no way to have better frame rate compared with default sceneries (fsdt airports looks great but that costs a lot in terms of performance).

Here is a nice little circuit around the western U.S. you could try:

KLAX - KSFO

KSFO - KPDX

KPDX - KSEA

KSEA - KGEG

KGEG - KBOI

KBOI - KSLC

KSLC - KDEN

KDEN - KABQ

KABQ - KPHX

KPHX - KLAS

KLAS - KSAN

KSAN - KLAX

Of course I live out west, and I'm partial to the scenery out here. But there is a lot of great stuff to see back east, too. Enjoy!

Any arrival in KSAN is tons of fun. (My home city) Although, I have yet to find good scenery for it.

Here's a fun video of the 787-8 Dreamliner landing at KSAN:

NZXT Phantom Tower

RX-850AE PSU

Asus P8Z68-VLE

Intel i5 2500K 4.3 GHz

Nvidia GeForce GTX560Ti

Kingston HyperX 2x4GB DDR3 1333

WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD

Windows 7 x64

Try this website : www.airlineroutemaps.com and look at the different US carriers routes (sorry can't create link on ipad)? Some seem to be a little outdated, but gives you a good idea of all the possibilities.

Most of the routes that people mentioned here - the runways of the airports are not enough for landing \ departing for 747 .

KPHX-KLAX is a favorite of mine - very complex STAR (the SEAVU2) on the way in with a ton of altitude restrictions to deal with.
