All,I have just uploaded FSAutoStart v1.0 Build 6 to the AVSIM library - it should appear for downloading shortly. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...util&DLID=48107This version includes much better handling of multiple profiles. I have received quite a few requests for the ability to use this program with other games. This build will help facilitate this. Also, I have included other requests. I hope you find this a useful utility, and as always if you have any suggestions or problems feel free to post here or email me directly!Changes in this build:* Added ability for console app to automatically terminate instead of waiting for user input* Added ability to remove programs from program list (in case a program was uninstalled, for example)* Added ability to reset the action for all services and programs* Moved configuration files to application data folder* Moved profiles to application profile folder* Added ability to configure FSAutoStart to support shells (see FAQ Item 1).* Added ability to create a shortcut to a profile. When the shortcut is opened, the FSAutoStart control program is automatically executed with the profile.* Added a profile list window to the main application window and removed the Most Recently Used file list from the main menu.* Minor cosmetic changes

Maybe you shouldn't thank me yet ;-)Two known issues:1) the shortcut is missing a double quote so it doesn't work unless you modify the shortcut to add it in.2) the shell override is not remembered by the dialog window when you go back into the configuration windowI'll fix these in the near future and issue another build with a couple of additional features.

Hi Ken,May I be the second to offer my thanks - great stuff!!One question.....I hear you groan :(Should we uninstall build 5 first or can this version be installed over the previous build and in so doing preserve the existing configuration details? I ask only because it took a little while to figure out what I could Stop/Stop and Restart/No Action and it would be a minor pain to have do it all over again. Perhaps I could take a few screenies to serve as an aide memoire...now, that's a thought :)Edit:......or maybe I should just make a copy of the ini file as a reference source! I loved Build 5, but I was dumb enough to lose it when I installed Build 6. So: How do we get 6 to work, or how do we find 5 again? 5 is gone from the site...Hey - It is a good thing, and thanks for putting it all together.

Ken, When I install build 6 it seems to do OK but it does not seem to save the configuration files. At least not where the program can find them. Also, after the first running of the program, the next time you run it, it wants to install it. How do I fix this? Thanks.Pat Callaghan

Interesting.What OS are you running? If you are running Windows 2000 or XP, are you logged in as an administrator?
