June 11, 201213 yr Hi guys, I've been flying the NGX since it came out, but only on IVAO. Recently i switched to VATSIM, because its just better if you want to fly over America. However i need help: Can someone explain it to me (like I'm a 4 year old, LOL), how to to see the surrounding traffic in the correct livery ? (I'm using Squawk-box !) Thank you ! PS: Im seeing some VIP/paper planes everywhere. lol Kaman BAPMDG 737 NGX Flight Preparation using EFB, TOPCAT, FSBUILD & AS2012 Leaving the dream ! MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE: LIFE OF A STUDENT PILOT !

June 11, 201213 yr You need to move over to FSInn. This will get rid of the paper planes and replace them with a default jet of the same type (i.e. default 767) if the other player is flying something that is either not real world such as an Air Canada A380 or if someone has a plane type that is unreadable by the software. The FSInn sub forum is the best place to start. Mark CYYZ
June 11, 201213 yr You can use Squawkbox for the correct liveries, you just need to have a mod that's on the VATSIM forums. EDIT: VATSIM recently put up a poll on their forums for the new pilot client they are developing. Hopefully, it will be better than FSInn which hasn't been updated in years, and Squawkbox, which development was halted and the author doesn't want to make it open source. June 11, 201213 yr Yeah i read that topic, but i also see people talking about no retractable landing gear for AI traffic ..... do you have that issue as well ? Everyone has that issue, even with the SMS generator. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
June 11, 201213 yr FSInn had dynamic lights and retractable gear. Really? The problem of it with me is that it only shows default liveries, not like Squawkbox which tries to use the livery with the paper models. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
June 11, 201213 yr Both FSInn and SB is capable of using any 3d model / livery in your library as online traffic. You need to configure the client first tho, it doesnt work automatically out of the box Johan Pettersen
