You can open doors page in CDU2 and work in CDU1 your preflight flow.

 

I use the CDU 2D popup, and the FO CDU isn't exactly very accessible. Sorry but this really isn't a solution.

why not ask GSX to remove that irritating beep, even when Im

not using the CDU that beep gets my blood pressure up :-)

To remove the beep sounds and that horrible annoying "Hello" , got to Z:\Flight Simulator X\fsdreamteam\couatl\gsx\sounds

And rename the wave files as per screen shot.

None of these suggestions are needed, but are very helpful, and they are good ideas. If you don't want to use the clickspot, you don't have to; others might find it extremely helpful.
