I personally find more value in adding scenery vs adding planes, so, while I'm disappointed Alaska doesn't come with a deluxe AC, I'm still looking forward to buying it, as long as the price is reasonable. $20 bucks like Hawaii would be nice. Anything over $25 and I'll think a lot more and let the reviews come in before I buy.

 

I'm hoping there's an optional DLC to add a VC to the cub. If that's the case, I would be willing to spend a little more to get Alaska pack and the "basic" cub.

 

Hopefully only a couple more days and we'll know!

The quote says 'new aircraft'. Unless my understanding of English (not my native language) is flawed, that's a plural. Otherwise it would say 'A' new aircraft. Nobody seems to pick that up. I'm quite confident at least one 'deluxe' aircraft will be offered, but as a separate purchase.

The semantics there has been done. Many are hoping just that - that there will be a proper plane released at the same time.

I have to confess I'm a bit surprised by the lack of a "News" update on the Flight website today, other than the Marketplace glitch. I really did expect an aircraft announcement today. But this close to release, maybe they're working late tonight and it's still to come.

Yeah, I was hoping for an airplane with VC announcement as well.

It would be strange to release so much new scenery content without at least one more plane (well, not really one more for me since I really want a VC). I'm also still rather hopeful that they'll announce a deluxe plane, but not 100% confident any more. Let's hope that if I'm wrong, we will at least not have to wait a whole month (but I'll just delay any purchase until we know when the next VC plane comes anyway).
