June 26, 201213 yr Just in case some of you think that you get nuthin for nuthin, well Aerosoft may prove you wrong. Their free gift to loyal customers is a fantastic little aircraft and my initial impressions are that it's as good as some payware addons. The quality and flight dynamics are very much akin to Ant's Drifter and the textures I think are superior than many other 'hi-end' aircraft. Check it out and see for yourself... June 28, 201213 yr Author Nice shot Howard, i got it but haven't flown it yet. Adam It is fun, but having spent more time in it I have discovered several issues. 1) the compass does not work correctly 2) I question whether the variometer functions correctly and 3) The flight dynamics are a little wooden. But, it is free and it is fun. Certainly a little gem for taking up at the end of a day for a quick flight at your local airfield to watch the sun go down... July 2, 201213 yr And here I was thinking this thread was about a calculator! Lol I didn't know about this plane, I'll have to check out their site this weekend and look for it, looks good. Maybe someone smart can replace the compass for us ;)
July 2, 201213 yr Author And here I was thinking this thread was about a calculator! Lol I didn't know about this plane, I'll have to check out their site this weekend and look for it, looks good. Maybe someone smart can replace the compass for us ;) There's already a patch available Dan for the compass. However, after having installed it several times I have been unable to get it to work. No doubt it will be resolved soon.
