June 28, 201213 yr Author well one thing I expected and was dissapointed not to see was correct airport elevations at Ketchican. Dont understand why the sloped taxiways were not modeled. ? I was wondering the same thing but hadn't got around to saying anything about it yet. There's bigger issues to address. June 28, 201213 yr Well, what I am expecting, is an aircraft that is truly suitable for the terrain, since without it, we are getting half of what we really need to enjoy it to the full. I think the terrain looks pretty good myself. With FS, there is of course no need for a scenery developer to concern themselves with that, but as we know, MS wanted all of the pie in shutting out TPDs. That was their choice, and I'm not getting into whether that was right or wrong, but when that is the way they went, then it is all on them to provide the complete package - great looking terrain (check), really stunning airports, fab planes to fly from them, etc. What I would therefore like to see, is MS blowing my socks off with an add on aeroplane suitable for Alaska that justifies the decision to want all the pie. I'm fairly sure that when developers such as A2A, PMDG and Orbx find themselves having to work around the limitations of the FSX ESP engine, then they must be looking upon what Flight can do with envious eyes, but that's exactly where MS should then be going into overdrive, so that they make use of the advantages it confers to the highest degree. Come on MS, give me a Catalina which makes the Aerosoft one look like a joke (and Flight does have that capability), and I'll be a believer in your decision to want it all, and then you can forget 15 bucks, I'll give you a hundred Bucks if you can deliver that kind of complete package, and I bet all the FSX holdouts would too. They've certainly got the engine with Flight, but now what they need is a driver. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

I guess it just needs more work, like some movement, some sounds, some static aircraft or boats or ships or something. It sure does need some floatplanes, or Beavers, or PBYs or C206 Amphibs or heck, anything to add to the nothingness. One thing MS needs is a roadmap that they are willing to share. I don't see how can they deliver detailed scenery, airplanes, new content and improving the game engine at the same time and get it out fast enough so people are satisfied. If 3PD where involved I think we already would have had some decent bush planes, more detailed airports and at the same time MS could work on other things to improve their engine(like adding AI, ATC, etc).
