Love it so much... I'll buy it twice :-)

Jeroen was right. of course...

I just want to rush home from holidays, buy Hawaii, Alaska and the Maule - no cockpitless aircraft this time - and then rush through those painfull basic flights until I get my pilot license and am able to transport passengers and cargo again, allways striving for ZERO CRASHES!!!!

I am really jealous of you guys flying around Alaska, leaning and enriching your mixtures with some difficulty (a lot simpler in ELITE :-) ) but profiting from the wonderfult environment MS FLIGHT gives us...

This is my penalty for being a jerk... Buying it twice - a second marriage with the same bride :-)

At least you can take advantage of the Steam Summer Sale this time... you can get everything you listed individually for $30, or you can take the big bundle with all current DLC (including the warbirds) for the same price.

I already have a Steam account I used to buy the first p-51. I could use that same account, but I believe that in order to get all of the DLCs available in GFWL I have first to install and run MS FLIGHT from Steam to be able to get the redem codes....

I'll check it when I arrive home...

You may be able to get your Flight DLC access codes from Steam without actually installing the Steam version of Flight using this little trick I just saw suggested on the Steam Forum...

  1. Install Steam (if you don't have it installed already).
  2. Start the download of the free base Flight package.
  3. Pause the download.
  4. Verify Flight is showing up in your Steam Library.
  5. Buy your Flight DLC from Steam.
  6. Note the DLC access codes now showing in your Steam Library under Flight.
  7. Start your GFWL version of Flight and enter your access codes from the Main Menu.
  8. Cancel your (paused) Flight download in Steam.

I have not tried this myself, as I run the Steam version of Flight to ensure I can buy from both stores.

Ray, this method works perfectly. I've just used it to purchase the Corsair (I'm not going to argue about cockpits at £2.85).

If only I'd waited to purchase Alaska, but I'm not going to be too bitter. I think flying in Alaska since day 1 is worth the £4 I would have saved if I'd bought the Steam bundle later.

Hello

But isn't your friend that you introduced to flight simulation using that account ?

That's not really what MS had in mind with it's DLC

Nope :-)

All of my DLCs, but the p-51, were bought through XBox.com, and installed via GFWL. I transferred the p-51 and used it, just as the other DLCs, using that account my friend is now using.

I have created a new Windows Live account now, and that's the one i will use to buy/install the DLCs I will buy again. I will also get a new gamertag, and my Pilot Profile will be created from scratch.

As I told, I do not plan to buy cockpitless aircraft from now on, and will also try to mantain zero crashes throughout my "ms flight pilot" life....

I had just a hundred or so points above 1000K in my profile. It will take a lot of time for me to get those points again :-(

I am completly against illegal use of software ...

I'm curious about the upcoming DLC supposedly for the Cub. It may include variations of that model, and also at least one instrument panel. I would really like to see a GPS different from the one we have in the Icon....

@RoboRay: Thx for the Steam hints !!!!

Considering most of us seem to be in a relationship with her that may not be libellous.
