September 20, 201213 yr I totally got rid of shimmering too with 5x water, 4xMS & 4xSGSS and you need to run in full screen mode as well not windowed.

September 20, 201213 yr Finally, I managed to screw up my shader cache to a point the sim is unusable. In stead of fixing what I have, I've decided on a complete re-install of FSX this afternoon to give myself something to do on a slow, homework-less day. Sorry to hear that. If you are doing a complete reinstall, may I suggest you make a complete backup of FSX related files/folders before your add anything to it. Good luck. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
