Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I have just started flying a Warrior in real life and have a few issues with the flight model of the JF version I have. Max RPM with the throttle firewalled seems to be 2600 when 2500 would normally be a fast cruise, any ideas??

Just a thought but did you make sure that Carb Heat was switched off?

I too found the revs/speed relationship in the JF version to be slightly off compared to the ones I've flown RW, but generally close enough for me.

 

Hopefully someone will do a better updated version soon. In the meantime I've defected to the A2A C172.

 

I'm waiting for a new PA28.

Thanks for the reply - yes, in fact that's another thing, during checks when switching between magnetos and cycling carby heat the revs don't change at all.

Watch out for A2A releasing their Piper Cherokee. That will be interesting and no doubt alot more detailed.

I know this topic is old, but do we have any updates?  Both for P3D and FSX-SE.

a2a Cherokee is likely your best bet (for now).
