When is SkyWorld for FS9 comin' out?

Featured Replies

I was an absolute "fan" and advocate of SkyWorld for FS2002. Are there plans to release it for FS9 or not? I'd like to know. I think the cloud formations were absolutely incredible and I enjoyed them very much. How about an update! Stan

Hi Stan,This subject came up a few weeks ago. Chris Willis replied that he doesn't know when the final release of SkyWorld for FS2004 will be released as he just works on it when he can. But he did say that he is still working on it. I would have to agree that it is something to look forward to with eager anticipation!Regards,Jim

Ahhh, there's the man himself... apparently replying right about the same time as me. Who better to answer the question! ;)Cheerio,Jim

I thought you worked for Mother Nature ! Looks good!

God Lord those beta shots are awsome! Looking forward to the new clouds!Cheers,Scott

Hi, After the release, there will have update, to improve performance and visual for simple clouds they will be like fs2002 model type looking, and new clouds models structure model detailed mode, normal and freindly performance. For now I will release the utility with the clouds , sky color with blending horizon etc.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs

Wow they look absolutely beautiful, great job man! Can't wait for their release... now will this be a full environment update? Because right now I'm still trying to figure out which update goes best with the other one (ie which clouds and sky update look best together, etc.)

M. G. Toss a coin.;)

I saw those clouds the other day Chris and my goodness that is just great! In the future can you show us how the visiblity will look like in your program? I know that fs9 has that aweful habit of making the haze at 10mi or less regardless of clouds to have an overcast look. Will your new program correct this?
