I am interested in the reaction on the XP forum when the OP starts posting the faults with XP and starts telling everyone that he is uninstalling it, like he did on this forum many times regarding flight.

And Jeroen, not sure how much the Legacy can carry in that glove compartment Have you imported it into AH yet?

 

No, I can't because I don't own AH yet and the demo doesn't import addons. I also already thought about the Legacy not being a cargo plane... pity you can't transport passengers with Air Hauler.

 

Nice vid btw: I see you have two RXP GNS530's! (That's the Unlimited pack?) That's one of the addons I have been thinking about for years... My biggest problem with RXP GNS's is that you can't import FSX flightplans... Creating the kind if plans I like to use is impossible with the RXP GNS530... Still, being able to do RNAV approaches would be nice... But apart from that the default GPS can do everything I need, really. LOL Flight had to little DLC, but FSX has too much addons...

No, being real.The people that really liked and enjoyed Flight had to listen to these complaints over and over and over again for day are day, and if we complained, we were chastised. I am curious to see how this comparing and complaining is handled on the other forums. I am betting it won't be tolerated.

Well, they know me there too, but I really never got into any big/nasty discussion with anyone there... I tried to make my point and most of the things I complain about are simply not arguable... Even those that like xplane complain about it...

Look at the aircraft.cfg for the legacy. Add up the station weights and that is what Air Hauler will allow you to carry. AH simply takes the cargo capacity from the station weights available in the .cfg.

 

Obviously you have to factor fuel into this too, as you probably cannot fill the tanks at a full capacity if you have a full payload.

 

By the way.....I just purchased the Legacy. I think this is probably GA nirvana as far as FSX goes!

eh <---My last word about FSX in the FLIGHT forum (probably)

 

I asked for it... (And $$$$$$$$$$ indeed.)

Sorry guys, this is also my last word regarding FSX I post here - from here on it'll be only FLIGHT here, and FSX at the proper forum, but I really had to share my excitement with my fresh reinstall of FSX Gold....

 

It was bought from xbox.com, payed without problems - I had great difficulties last week paying the cockpit for the Cub... - and then downloaded and installed through GFWL. It was the Golden edition, somethin that was not available when I quited FSX long ago...

 

Took some time to download the apox 14GB, then around 25' install, and in between I also downloaded FSUIPC, RealAir SF260 and a few more add-ons, for immediate install as soon as FSX was ready....

 

I also downloaded SP1 and SP2... This was my error... Soon after installing and running FSX Gold for the first time - I noticed the EH101 was present, as well as the Reno Air Races p-51 !!!!! Hmmm I thought this was only available with Acceleration, but proceeded to install the patch.... Bummer! I got an error on SP1 with a given ".cab" not found... I thought - well, problems started a little to early :-(.... Sent an email do MS Support, but at the same time posted my problem at the AVSIM FSX forum....

 

In just a few minutes I was given the good news - very helpful forum!!!! - FSX Gold already includes all of the required patches :-)))))

 

Direct RealAir and Aerosoft installs, all through the night until I fall asleep on the keyboard ....
