It's a fine tribute to the guy that he's still helping people, and will continue doing so as long as his posts here exist..

My feelings exactly - I often think about his enthusiasm for the hobby, and that he went out of his way to help others.

I recall his delight [ shortly before he passed ] when he solved a long standing shimmering graphics issue on his system.

I too never met David, but I wish I had.

He was a Simmer's simmer.

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Rest in peace. Undying gratitude for his effort for the sim community

In addition to Zach's rightfully deserved praise, I would like to add that Opa set a shining example of what any forum member can and should strive for in the way of demeanor.

It speaks for itself that it has been a year and we still miss him. I did not know him personally, (except through the forums) and I feel that is my loss.

Best regards to all,

Mel
